Thanks, Julie. As his piano teacher, he's done me proud. Not too shabby for only 11 years old. Sure, he doesn't play it 100% perfectly and yeah he hits some wrong notes. But still...this recording was done in "one take" without rehearsal or recital preparation. His name is Cameron. Check out some of the other videos I've posted of him. Do a youtube search for "socal515 cameron" and you'll see him play Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, David Bowie's Changes, Clapton's Layla, Aerosmith's Dream On and Van Morrison's Moondance. All worth watching :)
Wow…amazing talent. I have watched and enjoyed Cameron's multiple videos. I'm impressed with him, AND the piano teacher who has the open-mindedness and willingness to offer lessons that inspires a student to play pieces that excite him, rather than force the draconian 'knuckle cracking' dogma of scales and traditional/classical pieces that some young people aren't interested in. Kudos for following the students' passion and leading him in a direction that he wants to go; where he willingly practices, achieves a level of mastery and ultimately experiences success and joy with music that his chosen path has revealed to him. Well done. Keep up the good work. A. Z.
@@spooniergermsderp2074 I took the following piece of sheet music www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0126015 and I personally embellished it based on my own arrangement in order to give the song more punch, especially in the arpeggio runs of the "hooks" that make the song great. Essentially, I emphasized those arpeggio hooks by having Cameron use both hands to play them simultaneously in order to give them more power.
You can find the sheet music at musicnotes.com but I added my own personalized arrangement to the sheet music so as to fill in the guitar runs that Badfinger uses as the main instrumental riffs of the song, since those weren't on the printed sheet music.
Heisenberg would be proud

Nah I just think they're timings quite off. Right in some parts. Very impressive for 11
