Honoring Fallen HPD Info Security Officer Russell Richardson | Houston Police

Tuesday morning, July 16th, Acting Chief Larry Satterwhite and HPD Command Staff joined in a procession to escort the body of HPD Information Security Officer Russell Richardson from the Medical Examiner's office to the mortuary for upcoming funeral services.
Mr. Richardson, who worked in the Office of Technology Services, tragically lost his life in the floodwaters of Hurricane Beryl as he was reporting to work Monday, July 8th. His service and dedication to the City will never be forgotten.
The funeral will take place Monday, July 29, at 11:00 am at the Fort Bend Church, 1900 Eldridge Road in Sugar Land. A visitation will be held before the funeral beginning at 8:00 am.. The public is encouraged to attend.
