My only major criticism for Herbert is his 2 minute drills. His numbers are not good for a guy who gets called an Elite talent. Jared Goff is considered solid but not elite but his 2 minute drill numbers are substantially different than Herbert. Watched him in a game this past season where Herbert got the ball inside of the last 2 minutes of either half 3 times and came away with 0 points and only one 1st down. That to me suggests he's reliant on his natural talent but lacks preparation and is largely why someone who is considered elite misses the playoffs so much. To put it in contrast Aaron Rodgers had a terrible defense, a nonexistent run game, and at least 1 legitimate playmaker at receiver and practically owned his division and had very few game winning drives for his career despite all of that. So what is the difference between Herbert and Rodgers outside of a dynasty being in their division?
