Once again, this title sequence is simply magnificent~ I love how this sequence, much like the last one, looks like a retro remaster! Not too crisp that it looks modern, but enough so that it looks better than 1965 quality 00:30 Is this vortex a Tom Baker reference? Whether intentional or not, the vortex reminds me so much of the 4th Doctor era~ In addition, the other sections of the background are incredibly vibrant, captivating, and well-composited! I love looking at them, it's like I'm looking into a kaleidoscope! I hope you showed this to your mother after you went to see it in theaters~ Another shining example of your work! Side note: I cannot hear the Peter Cushing Who theme without thinking of The Fugitive 😂
Thanks again Volk! The tunnel was a recreation of the tunnel in the original titles of the second movie. Whilst my attempt used the same colors as the original, I saw that the official 4K remaster changed the tunnel to a sickly green, which I was not a fan of. You can see for yourself in a picture I took when I went to the cinema to see them in my community tab. Fun fact: I used the same method on the tunnel as I did with the vortex of my Fluidic titles back in 2018. ;) And I really enjoyed watching the actual 4K remasters on the big screen. And so did my mother. Although she is quite torn on whether my titles remakes look better then the real titles. XD (On your sidenote, I thought you were referring to Jo Martin's Fugitive Doctor when I first read your comment lol.)
Adore the opening theme from Dalek Invasion of Earth. What a romp! Damn these films might have been purely to cash in on the Dalek craze but they're so darn flashy and stylish. The Daleks can be menacing and look good about it too. Can only imagine a whole slew of Cushing Who films doing their own takes of various Dalek stories with that glorious technicolour vibrancy. Sadly only a dream.
Cheers! For the time tunnel, I used the same liquidy method as I did for the vortex in my Fluidic titles back in 2018 for Jodie's Doctor. And the logo animation was a little nod to Star Trek, considering this film and Star Trek both came out in the same year. ;)
The Daleks taking over Earth back in the 10th Doctor episode, "The Stolen Earth", was one of my favourite stories of the show's revival, so I'm hoping that scenario will take centre stage again one day😊
@@Average_me001 Don't know. Last I heard was that there was a load "office politics" with B-Where himself and an actress which slowed progress to a halt. In my opinion, I think his series is kinda dead due to such a long time of inactivity. We were supposed to be on a second series now with a 60th anniversary planned. Shame really, because I had some interesting story ideas I wanted to pitch. :/

Thank you! Might I recommend my Daleks Vs Mechanoids video? It's basically a title sequence to what would have been the third Dalek movie. :)
I'm going to see both Dr who movies in the cinema tomorrow! Can't wait for this
I just posted in my community tab about watching them myself ☺️
What a joyous title sequence, thank you Adam this is simply legendary and does the original so much justice.
You're very welcome. Any favorite parts of the sequence you'd enjoy? 🙂
@@adamwalkervfx can I say all of it? Because all of it. 😂
@@DanTheMan2150AD Sure you can! 😄
I can't wait, your a legend adam
Thank you so much. I always do my best. 🙏🙏🙏
Truly fantastic!!!
"Absolutely fantastic!"
I love that time tunnel look to the title sequence! And how the title was animated as well! Well done!

this looks amazing already!
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏

2.56K subscribers (Me speaking in a Dalek Scientist voice): "EXCELLENT ANIMATING/ANIMATION SKILLS AS ALWAYS ADAM!!!"
Why thank you 😊
That made me nostalgic for the movie. Very well done.
Thanks 🙏
Did you get a hold of the 4k steelbook yet?

With RTD back in the sadle, we hope so. :)
"SIGHS" "MOST EXCITING"
Indeed
I have absolutely no idea how you make these things! 💯
Well this was made mostly in HitFilm, with some of the effects done in After Effects. Hope that clears up some things. 🙂
I feel like you're gonna animate actual humans.
Oh god no! I would lose my sanity if I did that 😂
Great Work
Cheers 🥂
I don't know why but this score really gives me the vibes of what if Gene Wilder got to play the role as The Doctor
Not a bad choice of actor for the Doctor.
I'm finally getting Daleks Invasion Earth 2150 A.D on DVD after 3 or 4 years of looking in shops for it
Good for you... But why DVD tho, considering we just got the 4k remasters of both films?
Well I didn't get a chance to go to the cinema and watch them last week so I'm hoping they appear on either Sky or Amazon in 4K
@@hywelroberts1653 well, there's always the pirate option ☠️
@@hywelroberts1653 There's plenty of DVD options on eBay if you're not after the 4k releases.
@@Via_The_Void I found one on Amazon that's now been ordered
this is going to be intriguing but nonetheless exacting
"Most exciting!"
@@adamwalkervfx hey what's going on with the b- were series of doctor who

Can you create a title sequence for The Fourteenth Doctor as portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa
Maybe...I already have something planned. 🤫
Totally remade?
Not a 1-to-1 remake, but still a faithful one. :)
