The deciding factor in this game is that Virginia guards CAN'T play defense to save their lives....yes they can score and pass but on defense they're absolutely useless and they cant rebound when their bigs go for blocks. smh
Also, #30 on the Furman team needs to Transfer to a power house school next season...he has NBA skills.

UVA blew this year
Great call by the Furman coach to trap the ballhandler on that last play. Virginia doesn’t like playing fast so they are not used to being sped up like that great scouting lead to a turnover and the game winner.
Also a terrible call by UVAs coach to not call a timeout there imo

Like I said before coming from a Texas Longhorns fan!! I’m so glad Furman pulled off this upset!! I hope it’s Furman vs Charleston in the second round because that’s a 13 vs 12 matchup and Charleston vs Furman would be a very fun game to watch!! Also thank you Furman for saving my bracket!!

His 1-2-3 in his mind is way faster than the actual clock. Should have thrown the ball much higher but that's all second guessing now. Furman made some very bad plays the last 2 mins turning ball over. Furman should have won anyway truthfully

It’s March madness furman mad underrated
That bad call vs Duke caught up to them again I guess 😂. If you think about it, that game if won by Duke would have seeded UVA differently(maybe a 5-6 seed). That bad call changed their whole destiny bahahah. Just look how many things had to go wrong for UVA in last 12 seconds. The Furman kid made 2 foul shots and he only shoots 50%! Then had to have a magical turnover and a 3 to win. What are the odds😂

I believe that the reason that Virginia gets beat by these schools in the tournament has to do with their style of play. It is the style of play that these schools play all year long and they are used to it.
Yep, defense is all fine and dandy but UVA gets use to winning with 65pts. Any team that scores over 65pts will beat them
Furman will get by SDSU Sat., won't officially become tournament Cinderella until/unless they beat Alabama (murderer's row) in the Sweet 16...
Yea, um, virginia couldn't hold on. They join arizona as today's victim's.Being that Gilbert Areanas played college basketball at arizona and n.b.a. in washington d.c., he will be the victim's advocate for both team's in court at sentencing!
