Great in-depth build! Very well explained and the production quality is great! I’m definitely adding this to my cat wall build! One question, what paracord did you use and what’s the diameter of it?
Nice job. I just have 2 concerns. If the space between the bridge pieces is too large (2 beads as opposed to say 1 washer), couldn’t the kitties’ feet slip through & cause an injury? Second, I would be concerned that my kitties could get tangled in the “railing” part & strangle.
Are you using standard wood beads that you can get on amazon or is there a certain size you’re using? Planning on making a few of these for our foster room.
Hi Chris, Thanks for your interest in this project! The Rescue Rebuild team uses these beads, which are 1" with a 3/16" hole: www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSJZLRF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share. Tag us in pictures of your finished project on social media so we can see how it goes!
Greater Good Charities thank you very much for the info and for this awesome tutorial! It’s making the project a breeze! Definitely will post up some pictures/video and tag you in it!
Thank you for your concern for the safety of shelter cats 🧡. Our team has consulted closely with cat behaviorists about the design to ensure safety, and we've used it for years without issue. Let us know if you build your cat a bridge, and what they think of it!
How do you anchor the screws? I have one I’m building but I can’t catch the studs in the wall to mount it. Are wall anchors strong enough to hold the weight of a full grown cat. If so what kind were used?
Great job on explaining the process! Looks great!
Thanks! That is the cutest!
i love this bridge really great it seemed very achiveable and it is well explained, a great video. im really tempted to make it.
Pretty nice. I think this is the bridge I’ll be building. It’s the nicest and best looking manufactured looking piece. My kitties will thank us!
Great explanation on how to build
Good job and thank you for sharing !!!

This is great! I’m gonna try making it but what size rope did you use and how big were the holes that you made for the rope
How much paracord did you need? How much still rope did you need? And what kind of spacers were those? I have so many questions
Is the prime, coating, and other wood prep materials bad if the cat likes to chew on the wood?
Great ideas, but my Maine Coon is bending the brackets!
What about chewers and urine? Would you use the same materials for animals who like to chew and urinate on wood?
Excellent! Do you sell these!.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🐈🐈⬛
Complimenti, bravissimi.
Che corda hai usato per legare il ponte?
Grazie
Il nostro team usa il paracord per la corda. Grazie per la domanda!
What size is your paracord?
What is the recommended thickness of plank wood for cats?
Hi there, thank you for your interest in this project! Our team uses 1x2 (3/4" thick) planks for bridges and 2x10 (1-1/2 thick) for the shelves.

@@GreaterGoodorg What's the material/ clothing you used to wrap the wood planks/ cat's steps?
do you sell these
What thickness of paracord did you use?
Same question
How high did you cut the dowels?
Thanks for the question! The Rescue Rebuild team cuts the dowels to a height of about 5 inches.
@@GreaterGoodorg thanks! and how deep did you go with the forstner bit?
@@JayJay-sr5gn About 1/2", or the depth of the wide part of the bit 👍🏻
I am worried about the cat hanging itself in those cords or just getting trapped.

@@GreaterGoodorg Thank you, it's a relief to know it's not a hazard for the cats.
