Great tips for organizing craft projects. I like things to be really organized, too. I don’t want to spend all my time looking for things. Unfortunately every time I make a journal there is a point when my entire desk looks like a hurricane hit it! I’ll keep trying! Thanks for the tips!

A pot lid rack is perfect to sit on your desk to hold the plastic folders. Stores vertical and easy to pull in and out.
I have close to 200 clear folders and no room on my desk🌸… lol! 😊

You have a great Organizational skills Laurette! The common theme I see my friend is lots and lots and lots of pinks, lol! I am sitting here drooling over your shabby pink baskets full of a lot of pinkiesh yummies! You made me laugh when you said you have a cat issue! OMG, my son brought his Russian Gray "Maverick" with him and he is a youngster as opposed to my Daisy. He wakes us up at night racing across the rooms, lol! He is also a teaser; he doesn't let me hold him unless he is in a deep sleep then I can get my kisses from him. Hugs...

Hi Laurette!! Yup....I use the baskets alot too for storage!! They have such pretty ones out there now in different pastel colors and sizes and shapes!! I get most of mine from our Dollarama store!! I'm in the process of trying to get my craft room completely sorted our and set up the way I want it!! I still work full time and travel 30 minutes to work and from work each day so by the time I get home and have dinner, the day is almost done!! I've taken this coming Monday and Tuesday as vacation days so that I can make a big dent in getting myself back to a point where I can start to craft again!! My Dad turns 90 on Tuesday and is in a Seniors Residence so I took Tuesday off so I could go and spend a good part of the day with him!! I think I've blabbed enough now!! LOL TFS my friend!! I recently gave up my craft room to my son that needed to move back home. A lot of my stuff is packed and what isn’t is a hot mess in my living room. I think the plastic cd envelopes would be super helpful for me right now. Thank you for sharing all of this. Always helpful to see how others do things

You have some good ideas on ways to organize and store crafting supplies. My supplies are in total disarray. I plan to use some of your ideas to help me get more organized. I especially like the use of the Target baskets and CD pouches. Thanks so much for sharing. It has been extremely helpful.

I’m a dollar tree plastic bin collector, by size Extra large/large/medium/regular/small/tiny-mini... then I get into color coding. But no where close to yours. Brilliant gurl

Thanks so much for sharing Laurette! It's amazing the storage envelopes available on Amazon so reasonably priced. My two cays are the biggest obstacles to my organization. They like to clear shelves as fast as I organized them. They're so naughty! 😕 so I need to go to more closed storage so if they knock it down it's not a big mess!

Great ideas especially with the larger bins for holding all the digitals in plastic envelopes. It keeps everything together so you know where to access.. but it does not stop the hoarding! I need to use up my stuff now and not keep buying!!

I have tons of organizing bins and trays and bowls I picked up at the dollar tree and now.... I stare into my craft room and backout as I shit the door 😂 I'm prepared to get organized but am sooooo overwhelmed. Thanks for the tips. Maybe I'll just jump in and start with one spot.
That is exactly what I do, start in one tiny spot and it will go from there. It took me a month of looking at my mess before I just jumped in then I couldn’t seem to stop… lol! Put away something you know already has a home and it should kick start the rest. Good luck, let me know how it goes! Go for it! You can do this! 🎉🎉🎉
Wow, Laurette, you are one super organized paper girl! Thanks for sharing all your good ideas. You showed several boxes and bins that sit on your desk; makes me wonder how big is your desk? And where do you keep your cutters and score boards so that you can grab them easily?
Thank you so much! My work desk is 4’ x 6’ and was a dining table. My cutters and scoreboards sit on the floor on my right side in a basket for easy access, they use to sit on one end if the table but I kept knocking them off of it. 😬 I did show them in their basket in a couple of videos back. 😊😊😊

I really enjoy, seeing your storage ideas. Would you mind sharing, where you get the buttons for the cd envelopes. Also are they just glued on? And I would love for you to share the types of notes you add on your projects. I think alot of us need to be better organized and might really benefit for ideas on writing the notes you clip onto projects.
The buttons are snap on buttons, I have a video showing the process. They are put on using a special tool. I got the set on Amazon. LYNDA 12mm plastic Snaps.

You have great organizational skills! I try to control my spending so I keep my sku count down. Can you tell I worked at Walmart almost 30 years? Ha ha. And a third of that in Fabrics & Crafts. I am trying to do what you stated in early January. I'm gonna shop my stash. But it's hard not to want new pretties!!

Love this video!! what are the "buttons" you mention on the cd sleeves. Do they come that way or do you add them? Thanks!!
Hi Karen! The buttons on the smaller CD sleeves I added, I have a video showing how. On the bigger envelopes, they actually come that way. The buttons as I called them are really plastic snaps. There is a plastic snap kit with the tools on Amazon. Hope that was helpful for you. Always happy to help!

I bought it at Target over a year ago. It was for the bathroom but works here.
Good grief laurette , u sure have storage , it's impossible for me to have this as much as I need to
My craft room in.in my bedroom where my wardrobe ect is , iv already taken half the wardrobe for storage n have 2 craft tables one electric the other a desk
I'm in the process of getting new filing cabnet n drawers nothing else will fit

Our house is inline with ndis to get bathroom complete repurchase my hubby has ms n it's the fast one n had his 1st jab n now on walker
