lfg oof i think there is no time when you have the staff?
Alexios 2000 years ago: Mercenary
Alexios now: Genius, billionaire, playboy philanthropist.
That's awesome
Just my opinion but I think Alexios is the canon character because spartan men were raised for battle and they were allowed to fight the women weren’t. And in the game you are allowed to participate in battle with the Spartans.
@@gamevidz8763 yessir I didn't get why they added an alexios' outfit in ac 3 remastered instead of kassandra's. Ubi did a big mistake making her canon. Only 30% ppl liked her
@@darkmaguire9656 only 30 wow. I mean she wasn’t bad I liked her but not as canon. I wonder why they made her canon. I mean either way great game.
@@gamevidz8763 by 30 i mean only 30 percent of the people preferred to play as her. Rest all of us played as Alexios. Why didn't some people like alexios? Well the answer is that it was the first opportunity to play as a female character only in an ac game and most of em did that, so after playing for 50+ hours, they found alexios weird or they might be simps. That's the reason. Alexios will always be canon to me though

Wait, if this staff grants immortality... Does that mean Alexios brushed with Assassins like Bayek. Altair. Ezio and Conner and Arno and Jacob and Evie?
Brandon Owyong it’s possible. Would be interesting to see another game with Bayek or Alexios, meeting one another.
I think it only Grants it when you're Holding it
Sqwaz50 that wouldn’t be possible cuz canonically speaking Kassandra was the one who had the staff
@Lord Strawhat Think about it, The Minute Alexios Father Let go of the Staff Willingly or Not He Dies as soon as he let's go of it
Would've been a great post credits scene with him meeting with the assasins at certain points in their time
Think about this: maybe you chose the perfect ending for the family, but Alexios lost them anyway after a few dozens of years and had to move on all by himself. This is so cruel and sad...
In my eyes he’s the Assassin who got the most...Altair, Ezio, Connor, Bayek, Desmond even. Died never knowing if there work was finished, uncertain if what they had done was enough. Altair couldn’t have the confidence that his enemies wouldn’t found the temple first, Ezio never receiving the answers he spent his life to find, Connor unaware if there war would ever end, Bayek couldn’t see what he started. Alexios has peace in knowing everything was worth it, he lost everyone, watched the world move on like he was never there, watched Sparta fall. But the order lived on, thrived even. Alexios met a good end.
@@violetraven8323 a good end while he literally did nothing despite probably knowing about the grand temple. Minerva and Juno literally said they wasted time. Alex couldave done more BTS with his immortality while both sides fought. Instead dies in a hole with independent female character

One thing that makes this better than Kassandra's scene? You can actually hear the EXHAUSTION in Alexios' voice when he talks about the wars he's fought in, the friends he's lost, and the life he's lived.
Kassandra just kind of...says the lines, but Alexios' demonstrates a man who's just so tired and wants to rest.
I think Kassandra took all of it differently, when I saw this from someone who played her she seemed tired but emotionless in a way. That she just detatched her feelings towards it all (I would assume to cope with 2000+ years of life). That was the tone I thought at least, more like she just detached to deal with it that when she remembered it, it messed with her psyche when recalling those memories. I love how both Voice actors did this scene for different reasons tbh cuz you are right, he does sound tired in this scene
I dunno, there's also stuff Kassandra says with emotion that falls flat as Alexios, like when they mention ikaros being long gone
we all know that the main character really is and should have been alexios but wasnt due to certain corporate agendas...
@@Amine-fe3eeno it’s because upisoft got tired of being called sexist for all the assassins game having only men lead characters so they gave the woman what they wanted

Now we need an Odyssey spin-off. How I would love to see Alexios fighting through the ages. Taking on the Templars on his own time. Just imagine. Not just the Peloponnesian Wars, this is someone who probably served with Xenophon's 10,000, who fought against Phillip of Macedon and then joined Alexander, who fought in the Wars of the Diadochi, who probably helped defend Sparta from Phyrrus and marched with Hannibal over the Alps, who helped defend the Aetolian League from the Roman advance, who served alongside Marius in his war against Sulla, who probably fought in Caesar's Civil Wars and the Wars of the Second Triumvirate.
For all we know, Alexios has just been this badass mercenary fighting throughout virtually every major war since the Peloponessian Wars, all around the world. Someone who fought alongside the likes of Aurelian, Cao Cao, Belisarius, Abu Muslim, Qutuz, Edward the Black Prince, Mehmed II, Zhu Yuanzhang, Gustavus Adolphus, Jan Sobieski, Frederick the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Bismarck, Georgi Zhukov, to name a few.

First of all, he wouldn’t forget his time in Greece the place he started off in. He wouldn’t forget the name he went by for years and years to come. And you’d think due to him being a almost god-like figure, the least he could do is remember the bird that aided him for years including when he was first thrown off the cliff.
I don't care if Kassandra is the canon character according to ubisoft... but for me Alexios makes more sense and he is my canon character.

Notice how Alexios still speaks as if he's in Ancient Greece? He says device in your ear, not earpiece or something we would say in today's terms. He doesn't say nurses or doctors, but students of Hippokrates. I bet he'd call a car a carriage lol. Nice touch but I'd love to hear him say something modern.
Yah its really weird lol, he had been shown to be able to understand what's going on pretty good judging by his prolonged exposure to the Isu environments, evidently in Atlantis such as how he was able to recognize Juno's laboratories and experiments as normally as how you'd expect of a modern person nowadays; instead of seeing them as magical places or transformation by the gods like how an ancient human in 5th century BCE would see the Isu as.
Plus, he had been living nearly 2500 years just to able to give Layla the Staff, there's no way he couldn't keep up with the world's development in the meantime unless he became a hermit living in an isolated place like a cave or he had been hibernating until then, which is doubtful really.

Probably
BigNig4000 Why would he have seen them? You know how many assassins there were that were more relevant to the cause than them? It's not like he can see everyone as well 😂 Bayek didn't make the Creed, offificislly (canon):

I had to come back here after the free DLC in both Odyssey and Valhalla. It all makes more sense now. Alexios travelling all over the world, protecting people from the artifacts. It makes even more sense that he came across other assassins just like he did with Eivor.

This game is a work of art. All games are art, but... being a gamer as old as I can remember myself, almost 30 years now, Odyssey was the first time I truly felt more than a game, more like a piece of art. Such a masterpiece of art that you put aside any "flaw" and just marvel at its greatness. In fact it makes you marvel at humanity's greatness in general, at things our civilization accomplishes, things as great as Parthenon or the Pyramids, or as simple as a beautiful sculpture or a well made videogame. That feeling of greatness and respect and even pride, that's s how you know you are looking at a work of art. It's not just the amazing graphics that succeeded in delivering a magical, ancient, eternal - mythic, beyond space and time experience. It's the feelings, the constant emotions the story cause to you. The proof is all the emotional comments from all the gamers. In all my gaming years, very few games have managed to make me feel. The developers-artists and all those who worked for this game truly made this a myth on its own. It is more than just Math and computer algos. It is soul. This IS a work of art. Respect.

That dive never gets old 👌
I know this is a cool and emotional moment but I can't stop thinking about how he died in the dead Peter Griffin pose
@1:05 "Time to troubleshoot.."
Typical electrical engineer. Lol
Things Changed But this Dialogue never changes. There is much to do in many unknown Horizons.
Dude he lived for thousands for years my boy alexios watched all his family and loved ones and friends die before him that hurts alot dude
The sadness in his voice when he mentioned how his eagle died a long time ago, but layala is just too greedy for her research to let alexios talk about his loss
No he didn’t Kassandra did since she was confirmed the canon eagle bearer
I think the sequel of AC we will play as alexios or Kassandra through time until modern day
I’d rather kill myself than live through another game focused on these
@@onespicysauce6599 go ahead then

Nah
Layla looks like older modern Phoebe. Wonder how that rocked Alexios' world.
does anything change if you sell the staff when you get it as a weapon?

And they say Alexios's voice actor did a bad job... 😑
So it's possible that he met Bayek, Ezio and Co???
Alexios and Bayek/Ezio would be a dream team 😍😍
He probably see them in the shadows.
Possibly with the eagles he sent to the various assassins and templars to watch over them, as Pithagora did by sending Ikaros to him. Its remains a theory.
@@sangokus6478 now with the newest dlcs this year it's clear !
Can you keep playing after completing ALL THE QUESTS in the game? Or is there some quests that will prevent you from going back to the open world once they are completed?
This is something you would find in a fan fiction I can't believe this is actually in the game
I thought Hypocrates being is Fahter was complete Nonesense, but they managed to top that WTF Moment with this.
@@alexander1055 what
Yeah I don't like the immortality thing and the still did it in Valhalla with basim never Bring back that again in the next game it's ruining the point of leaving a legacy after dying in assassin's creed

Its kinda weird to think while you're running around as Altair, Ezio, and Connor, this guy is still kicking around.
Couldn't make it to this part of the game so I'm watching it here
they could have done so much revolving this twist but they still ruined it
hatchhyjack what u mean
@@darielurena3529 i meant that they spent so little attention to this plot to make it actually worth something. for example, we never got to see what made alexios decide to stay in the cave for all this time nor when he did.
@@hatchhyjack what makes you think he stayed in the cave
@@benarmstrong6904 you would think that walking around in the open world with the only thing keeping you alive a magical artifact you have to constantly hold, stands out and is ridiculously hard to live with. not to mention that he would have risked exposing his existence to the world and in particular, the templars. he had no choice but to hide, but then again he could have hidden anywhere
hatchhyjack so he was holding onto the staff for two thousand years without letting it go lmao

Idk why I cried when I saw Alexios dying in my playthrough. I mean like... It was just sad scene, seeing Alexios in our times just for this one moment and then he dies, after all this time.
Alexios is probably going "Finally someone else who I can dump this onto"
I would love to see Alexios or Kassandra in future assassin's Creed games just like how Reda was in Valhalla
Alexios won’t appear in another game as he’s not the canon eagle bearer Kassandra was confirmed as canon so she would be the one appearing
@@Twilight24682 you seem way too attached to the Canon my dude. But sure you could be right. But didn’t they just die in this video.
I know this is late, but he looks like he has the apple of eden in his hands when he snaps there.Look at 02:46.
The staff can change form. he was probably just using it as something less visible, aswell as the fact that he just basically teleported it probably came last.
@@reallyvictor welp the staff its an precursor-sorry isu artifact so i guess it can take form of any of the others
Captain Adrian Dinca It could be an apple of eden but i highly doubt so, Desmond had one of the six, and i'm pretty sure his dad took it and hid it after he died in AC3, the one Altair had was destroyed in an accident, and Ezio hid one as well, so that leaves 3, although there may be 2 more that other hid away according to the AC wiki. I doubt he had one though, and he may of had little knowledge of the apple of edens because they didn't because relevant to the story/lore until 1190 when we begin Altair's journey.
Firmly grasped it for thousands of years... Patrick would be so proud
What i don't understand was where was the Alexious or Kassandra in the story of both modern and past day, you have a 10,000+ immortal watching 2 world shadow organization duking it out for powerful pieces of edens and they make no mention of interacting with the world to at least change something or do something about the 2012 solar flare that was about to happen before it got dealt with by Desmond. I'd said they were hermits living in Atlantis for 10,000+ years, but the suit says otherwise
Alexios is actually hot lol
