Beautiful air rifles. I love my silver streak and it still shoots straight and very hard!

Sorry I Actually I have another question. I have the same nickel rifle and a safety like the 91/96 series slide safety but there's no serial number on the right hand side where you were pointing there's only a serial number on the other side ? Wich is N001006R would that fall within the same year ? Thanks in advance AGAIN.

No worries... Not sure what make you have. I have a Benjamin 397P video that if you haven't looked it might help. In that video I show my early nickel Benjamin 397P (1991). It has an early serial number that starts with the letter "I" which would put it in the 1991 time frame (also has the larger receiver). A little later they started using the letter "N" as a prefix (and smaller receiver) then moved to using the letter "V" prefix. Don't know why they used different letters. Now, I believe you might have a Benjamin rifle with the "N" prefix marked Benjamin Air Rifle Co. or Benjamin-Sheridan, but without seeing a photo I would say it would be probably a 92 or 1993 vintage made in Racine WI before the transition to NY in 1994. Starting in 1994, Benjamin-Sheridan started dating their rifle(s) using the first three digits of the serial number. On your serial number, not sure on the "R" as an ending digit. Something I'm not familiar with. Could it be a not fully formed "8"?
