It always kind of blows my mind that people can get to orbit way faster than it takes for me to drive to work.
They don’t have 8,000 nose to exhaust pipe ships lined up directly in their way to orbit like you do en route to work. Plus they have millions of pounds of thrust and no speed limit. You have a crappy Mazda Miata with 120 hp and 30 badly timed traffic lights:)

Hey, I love the series! However, speaking of docking times, there quite a few novelties recently. While SpaceX does indeed perform their launch to docking operations in 24 hours, Russian space agency performs them in 6 hours for a while now.
correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't the apollo engine not require any ulaging?
Thankfully KSP doesn't simulate your astronauts getting the bends from that rapid decompression on docking with OrbLab 2
No kidding. Definitely need to prep that ahead of time going forward.
