Unfortunately.. During my 4 hour remote access session with Motorfest, the footage I was able to record has been darkened. The Contrast, Brightness and overall colour of the game was changed on their end :( Sorry guys. I'll be sharing LOTS of 4K content starting next week.

The Crew Motorfest looks so obvious copying Forza Horizon 5, even the intro style too. As much i hate modern NFS game but i still respect them for having originality, Forza Horizon also keep doing their best on their own, meanwhile The Crew? just nah, copy NFS, failed, then now they tried to copy Forza with festival thing, character customization, etc which also ended up being bad, also the physics is still bad in this game. The Crew motorfest is easy pass for me.
They really nailed the cockpit view this time.

Cockpit is brilliant, especially with hand crossing steering. But not having window reflections is a big distraction and somewhat ruins it a little.
i have to be honest, in every game you play, you make the driving type so easily, as always you are the best driver out there, Great to see you back Joe!

it is 'the crew'. every car drives the same. 80s RWD porsche or a modern AWD muscle car. same weight, same behaviour on the road.

It looks good and all but it SOUNDS amazing! Also I'm glad it's 60 fps, I was a little worried after watching the footage we previously had
This game looks really promising. Looks like the cars have weight to them but you can still drive them through turns fast. So many cars in Horizon 4 & 5 are so unfun to drive because of the obscene amount of understeer that forces me to drive slower than I want to. Motorfest, from what I'm seeing looks like a great balance between Horizons simulation route of gameplay and NFS's jarringly unbelievable arcade driving that lets you maintain grip on a 90° turn going 200mph. Looking forward to seeing more!
Modern NFS is not even just unbelievable, it just has so little basis in reality that it's jarring. Cars handle like a cross between a meth addict and a UFO, whether you understeer\oversteer going into a corner is decided by a dice roll, and the worst part is just that there's so little variety in how a car can handle, for example a car that is even 10% grip stock will not drift no matter what, same goes the opposite way.
This truly looks like the good old "insane grip, zero understeer, smooth cornering" type of physics from NFSUG1\2 and MW2005. Hopefully it won't disappoint, but with Ubisoft, who knows.
@@crispybottomconsidering it's a Ubisoft game. It'll definitely be supported for many years to come. It seems like they take more feedback this time around seeing how the Insider's Program worked.
Also, the description for how modern NFS handles is gold.

You just don’t know how to tune in Forza, understeer is the easiest thing in the game to tune out of a car…

THEY FINALLY MADE THE TERZO MILLENIO AVAILABLE TO DRIVE IN A GAME THAT IS NOT ASPHALT 8/9. ABOUT TIME.

That's a made up sound. The actual Terzo is a concept and the engine that it would've been built with would've been based on the V12 from the Aventador so it most certainly wouldn't sound like that lmao
The drag race mechanics remind me of NFS Pro Street. It actually looks and plays pretty nice.

The game looks so nice and sounds are so good and the newest Ford Mustang is in game I am just so excited for this game!
Game is so forza like, I love it! The only down part is, when you take a jump, the car is like forced to the ground, not a gentle land.

I honestly forgot that Kamehameha is an actual Hawaiian name. I've usually heard it in reference to DBZ. Ngl, I am still skeptical about this game, mostly because it feels like it should've been a DLC for The Crew 2 that got expanded into its own thing, but I do like the roster here, and the nostalgia of Oahu as a destination is certainly there.

I'm excited. Seems like a blend of Horizon with NFS with a lot of vehicle variety (didn't say car since there are multiple types here, which is very nice).
That last drag race was awesome. This game is making me doing saves to buy a new generation console

I agree 100%. I was waiting for physics like this since most wanted and carbon. Motorfest is right between forza horizon and nfs and it's gorgeous for an arcade racer.
The layouts per track are a 1000x better they actually target Racing enthusiasts

Honestly I wasn't sure about the game at first from what I saw in the trailers, but my thoughts changed completely by playing the beta, I've been having a lot of fun and enjoying the gameplay much, I feel very comfortable with the handling, graphics looks great, car sounds are great, I also love the cockpit view! Overall I've been loving it tbh, didn't have this fun in a racing game since FH3 and United Heat, I'll get this one no doubt

What would you compare the driving to? I always felt the driving in TC2 was way too arcade like and kind of wonky
He said it was arcade like but it was grounded it in reality, and he prefers it over fh5's physics

Everything about this game seems for me which is good except I had two doubts and would be happy if you would share your experience:
Is the handling trying to be forza like or it has kept its crew arcadish style and improved it? Cuz for me TC2 was always the game to chill out when I'm tired, have a ride with not much effort and just enjoy, that is why I do not enjoy forza especially horzion5 at all.
And is the sense of speed any better because from the video I can't decide if it is better or not.
Sense of speed is better. The handling is still relaxing but not as relaxing as TC2 because it's definitely less on the rails, as in, you can break traction and drift in any car. The closest I can say the physics feel like is TC1 (you could try the trial version). While TC1 is too slippery and TC2 is too grippy. TCM is in between and I think it's a very nice combo.

This might sound nit picky to the average person, but unfortunately for me, the racing is just going to get boring again like the Crew 2 because of the AI. Being able to beat the AI by miles in every race offers no challenge, the only challenge is then against yourself and the clock.
This is a reason I'm really looking forward to the new Forza Motorsport, as they're using machine learning AI that look tough to compete against.
I will say this mate.. The hardest difficulty AI is very VERY hard.
I've lost to them way too many times. I wish I was joking too.
Hypercars and Alpha on the hardest difficulty is a proper challenge.

This map is a violent mashup between palm springs and fh5 mexico
I played The Crew 1 and 2 a little and I was confused with minimap in the right corner and speedometer in the left one. I hope that in Motorfest will be a possibility to swap it, because it is still confusing for me.
Finally they fixed the handling. Simcade handling is the best. The map looks good and not as compressed as USA (NYC being a couple of skyscrapers). The UI is good and not as overcomplicated as TC2.

Don't worry about quality, still a great look at it. I'm Super interested in the "feel". Is it the same as 2? Cars look like they have some decent weight, but that's hard to tell from only watching.
The best way I've been able to put it this.. It feels much more like Forza Horizon 5then it does The Crew 2.
It has it's own identity, but it feels very VERY planted.

What I wanna know is how do developers implement the bouncy tachometer? When the car is going around corners the yellow tach is bouncing perfectly with the terrain. But how do they implement that in code? its not like the tires are pixel perfect measuring contact...

I really hope the mirrors in the cockpit view actually work in the game at launch. It's not that tough for the devs to implement.
One of the things I like about the crew is that it’s balanced you can drive you’re dream cars and still compete and have fun unlike horizon where everyone uses a meta car and it just isn’t fun it gets boring

Definitely something going on with the performance, seems to be dropping frames in dense areas hopefully this is just an early pc build and will be sorted out by launch.
Yeah performance is pretty bad imo, all max settings and a 3060 is struggling with it.
Looks like they put some solid effort into the physics of the cars and terrains finally. Still fairly new to the crew in general. But playing the crew 2 these last few months has been a headache. As a semi professional driver. I cant wrap my head around the "go-kart" physics in the crew 2

Nice video man,I'm playing tc2, at first I was having fun, but now I see a lot of defects, you don't need to brake a lot, a lot of shortcuts, strange physics, pvp is unplayable because it's too arcade, this motorfest the physics is more satisfying than tc2? Seeing it on youtube it seems much better!

@@MrTARIQSs visually is referring to the graphical output of the game. sounds is referring to the engine sounds the game creates. drifting is referring to the way the car slides around in an artificial way. difference I listed is the how the world is open as it has more resources to poll from and is really the only thing the game really does better if it is even classified as that.
the second is the scripted nature of the jumps in this game which asphalt imo did better on their mobile game.

So much more planted.. Hypercars are my favourite so far to drive. I actually prefer them to Horizon 5 (Honestly the best compliment I can give)
Handling all round for every vehicle is massively improved. It's very good.

@@DonJoewonSong Nah the physics in The crew still bad, the car doesn't have proper weight, when jump the car is floating which makes it bad.
