Some of those opening animations were hyped up compared to what we saw in the anime. Imagine the summonings all fighting while we got the leaf’s OP shinobi fighting the Six Paths as a team. Hmmmm
"Sign", this one and "Guren" are the best openings I believe. Also the first one two. But yes I believe and many others that the pain arc is the best. I thought it peaked after it ended in the summer of 2010 and in hindsight others thought the same. Truth is, it wasn't so much to deal with. Pain, Naruto, Jiraiya, all focused, that's it. There was much buildup but not much to confuse the viewer. Not like after since 205 that there is so much buildup is overwhelming. It's not bad it's just overwhelming. Because there is so much potential and things to clear up. 2009 and 2010 were great years for the show.
Yeah, I gave up on it when Himawari could use the Byakugan without - clearly - having the eyes. I can take all the bullshit Kishimoto throws at me - Kakashi's perfect Susanoo, Itachi's death - but even I have my limits. Why should I love a series in which it's own creator decided to screw his own rules?
***** He didn't actually do that. Again it's overwhelming, but you can't knitpick at things. Again it's all about Naruto. The other stuff other than about him is sometimes a lot more interesting than what Naruto is doing. Like Itachi and Sasuke, Jiraiya and Pain, Obito and Kakashi. Nonetheless the show has a lot of potential and sadly it look like it experimenting. I don't know why it would do it but you can look behind the overwhelming bs and see the purity and finesse the show can bring. Again, the overwhelming parts in the show can do that to a viewer. But in hindsight I believe it's all great (except the fillers).

Damn. I came back to this song after all these years and still the emotions, the cycle, the dynamics of this arc was OFF THE CHARTS. This is by far the best arc of the whole series. I just love this opening. When Jiraiya writes his novel in a supposed "afterlife" scenario, it's like God writing the fate of the world. Where the hero finally meets its adversary. A fated battle that could very well change the course of the story, win or lose. TBH, this is one of the very few openings of all anime I've ever seen that I DO NOT want to skip.
Such a beautiful song in itself and even more so because of Naruto Shippudden and the meaning behind it. Both my favorite opening and ark from the series so I had to make my own cover of this and make it my own! It is simply a masterpeace.
I just came here to listen this song in the memory of Master Jiraiya. And also to feel the pain of lady Tsunade and the leaf village given by the Pain (Nagato) And last but not the least this arc make Naruto a real hero of the hidden leaf after the epic fight with the pain and he met his father and also a sad story of nagato. So this ost and this music has so many memories and feelings and I just came here again and again to feel the whole arc. Best arc of Naruto

"Sign", this one and "Guren" are the best openings I believe. Also the first one two. But yes I believe and many others that the pain arc is the best. I thought it peaked after it ended in the summer of 2010 and in hindsight others thought the same. Truth is, it wasn't so much to deal with. Pain, Naruto, Jiraiya, all focused, that's it. There was much buildup but not much to confuse the viewer. Not like after since 205 that there is so much buildup is overwhelming. It's not bad it's just overwhelming. Because there is so much potential and things to clear up. 2009 and 2010 were great years for the show.
Yeah, I gave up on it when Himawari could use the Byakugan without - clearly - having the eyes. I can take all the bullshit Kishimoto throws at me - Kakashi's perfect Susanoo, Itachi's death - but even I have my limits. Why should I love a series in which it's own creator decided to screw his own rules?
***** He didn't actually do that. Again it's overwhelming, but you can't knitpick at things. Again it's all about Naruto. The other stuff other than about him is sometimes a lot more interesting than what Naruto is doing. Like Itachi and Sasuke, Jiraiya and Pain, Obito and Kakashi.
Nonetheless the show has a lot of potential and sadly it look like it experimenting. I don't know why it would do it but you can look behind the overwhelming bs and see the purity and finesse the show can bring. Again, the overwhelming parts in the show can do that to a viewer. But in hindsight I believe it's all great (except the fillers).

Damn. I came back to this song after all these years and still the emotions, the cycle, the dynamics of this arc was OFF THE CHARTS. This is by far the best arc of the whole series.
I just love this opening. When Jiraiya writes his novel in a supposed "afterlife" scenario, it's like God writing the fate of the world. Where the hero finally meets its adversary. A fated battle that could very well change the course of the story, win or lose.
TBH, this is one of the very few openings of all anime I've ever seen that I DO NOT want to skip.
Always loved this song. Thank goodness for playlists.

Such a beautiful song in itself and even more so because of Naruto Shippudden and the meaning behind it. Both my favorite opening and ark from the series so I had to make my own cover of this and make it my own! It is simply a masterpeace.
I just came here to listen this song in the memory of Master Jiraiya.
And also to feel the pain of lady Tsunade and the leaf village given by the Pain (Nagato)
And last but not the least this arc make Naruto a real hero of the hidden leaf after the epic fight with the pain and he met his father and also a sad story of nagato.
So this ost and this music has so many memories and feelings and I just came here again and again to feel the whole arc.
