Every loved pet is an emotional support animal. My guinea pigs are emotional support animals, they do wonders for my mental health. It's not the same as a working animal or a medical alert animal, people just want to give their dog a title so they can feel special
@@thatvalensteingirl I agree my pets are the world to me, to us. She was not there for her dog keeping her safe on a tether
The poor bull mastiff, sent back to the rescue because people don't know how to care for dogs. The Plaintiff is a perpetual victim. Ugh, I hate people.
Both parties are ridiculous in this case. You pay that much money for some cows, forget about dogs. She should have accepted their offer. The defendants are just as ridiculous, however. "Rescued the dog." They are a married couple living with their parents, so they don't totally support themselves, and they think they are smart enough to take care of a dog. Also, the parents don't have a fenced-in yard. They wanted a dog. Period. Who cared if they could take care of the dog? They wanted it. Childish behavior.
Typically, when both dogs are unleashed, aren’t both litigants responsible for a portion of the damages? I kind of think the plaintiff should’ve been responsible for at least a percentage of her damages.
Not if the attack happened on her property. I don't think I know of any states where it's illegal to have your dog loose on your property. A loose dog is only a problem when it's on public or someone else's property.
I feel bad for the defendants dog because they returned her to the rescue facility. Don't get me wrong they made the right choice for their family but I hate to think that such a beautiful dog will be labeled aggressive or even worse be put down.
I mean it should be labeled as aggressive after this incident but it’s definitely the owners fault cause why the dog just roaming free and you not even home!!
My neighbor had a mastiff, gentlest giant ever. My little chihuahua looking Rottweiler in his mind ,would always bark at him and try to engage him. For the many years that they would interact ,that beautiful creature didn’t pay my dog anything beyond an annoyed glance.
Mastiff's, in particular, are typically very mild mannered BUT protective. I had a German Shepherd/Mastiff mix. Sweetest ever, but don't come near my granddaughter 😂
It certainly seems like the plaintiff has already told some lies. She said 2 men pulled the dog off. Now it’s going to be hard to believe anything she says.
@@LutherBlueRattie if it cancels out how come the defendants were stuck paying the entire bill? I think the plaintiff should’ve been responsible for a portion of it as well since her dog was unleashed.
I used to be part of a group of 'dog people' who met daily and walked our dogs together off-leash in a huge park. Some days maybe 5 dogs but at times up to 25. This was in Europe, decades ago. No fights. One was a huge mastiff - very easygoing and gentle. The owners did say that mastiffs are incredibly gentle and slow to anger. But if they do become angry, watch out.
People who 'rescue' dogs and then treat it as though the dog is well trained and peaceful really need to consider why the dog was in the shelter to begin with and assume the dog has a problem.
I bet the plantiff is feeling stupid for trying to be greedy and evil for getting them evicted when they offered her triple then what the judge awarded her!!!!
Right? I would think that dog would be dead if it lasted 20 minutes. The plaintiff was there for a money grab. Her own dog wasn’t even leashed and my eyes just about rolled out of my head when she wanted to sue for pain and suffering for her dog. I’m not saying what happened was right, but she has a little culpability in this too. And, in my opinion, she’s lying about the move. Why did she hesitate so long when the judge asked her if her lease was up?
Defendants seemed very nice and took responsibility. The plaintiff is crazy. She shouldn't have gotten anything for the thundershirt. Her dog is crazy because she is.

It's really annoying sometimes when the judge talks over people when they're talking about what happened. I get she reads the case file ahead but it's annoying trying to listen to her and the person testifying at the same time.
I actually like the purple dependents. They were genuinely sorry and good people. They even gave a vicious dog back and not everyone does. Should the plaintiff get compensation, yes, but I feel she went way over the top and if she had talked abit more, shouldn't of had them kicked out of a home they were staying in, only the dog.
