Dealership wanted $54.95 for air filter (did myself, thank you Jim!!) And they wanted $69.95 for the cabin air filter. Which, I will be doing myself at a later time. Again, thank you Jim for helping people out.May God bless you!!
I didn’t even know I had an air filter for the cabin. It was solid black when I changed mine. The air flows much better and smells fresh. Thank you for taking the time to share this information. 🤘🏼
Thank you for this! My dad always watches RUclips videos on how to do stuff to his car and here I am following his footsteps. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. Really appreciate you!
Thanks Jim. The dealership wanted 50$ to replace our cabin filter while we were getting an oil change. It's 13$ at the local Walmart. Your video helped save me a good bit of $ :)
They told my wife and I in College Station TX it would cost us $74 to change it. And another $79 for the engine air filter at the Honda dealership. I found them for $10USD (cabin air filter) & $13USD for the engine air filter. I was surprised how much easier these are to change than on our 2014 Chevy Silverado. I much prefer the Honda HRV now.
Hey Jim! Hopefully you or someone here can help me. I took my car to a shop for a quick oil change and they took the cabin filter out and put it back in backwards when I refused to get it through them. Anyway, the hook you mentioned was already off and is retracted, as in it doesn't stick out as much as yours in the video. I can't pull it out because I feel like I'll break it. There's no way to attach it as I can't even get a finger in when I close it close enough to meet the hook. Any clues? I can send pics/video if necessary. Just wanna close this thing properly. I hope they didn't break it somehow

Thank you. You saved me around $60 that Honda wanted to charge me in order to install this.
Amazing video. Last time i did it in a independent dealership. For my zero surprise, the airflow was inverted. DIY rules!!! Thanks a lot.
Glad it helped!

Honda dealership wants to charge 93 bucks for this. Probably bc im female.
I got hit with $59. The filter is less than $10. I will do it myself lol
Around the same price for me too and I'm male.
Dealership quoted $125 for me. That’s an hour charge with a technician. No thanks, $20 at Autozone and a 5 min job for me.
