I’m 73, dealer wanted total of $188.72 to do both air and cabin. Bought Honda parts online for $52 including shipping and installed myself thanks to your video. EASY!
Much thanks for sharing this. The dealership wanted $44.95. Autozone wanted $19.99. This filter replacement was 'even easier' than the air cabin filter change. Once again, thank you for posting tutorials such as these. Not only do they educate, they safe us all money AND time.
Hi. Thanks for the tutorial! How often should we change the cabin and air filters? I have a 2019 HRv. It’s been a year 1/2 since I’ve had the car. Never changed the filter. I used the AC just about everyday. I’m in Southern California. Air quality not to great. Thanks!!
Thanks Jim. I've been changing cabin filters on my Hondas for 15 years. I have one from my 2006 Accord that says it also fits CR-Vs but does not mention HR-Vs. Can you tell us what the filter dimensions are for a 2018 HR-V? Online suppliers either don't provide the info or have differing dimensions.
You should get the factory oem filter, both the engine and cabin filter. Your local honda dealership will carry them. It's really easy to do and your saving money if you replace them yourself. Your can purchase them also on eBay for a pretty good price. Hope this helps you out.

You sir are a godsend to this single mom. You saved me $250! I went to auto zone and bought both a cabin/air filter for $44. Dealership is a scam.
