- mostly just a test to see recording quality, and an excuse to upload a video.
I've finished dark souls remastered on my switch, but I decided to start a file on my PC, so I can actually do invasions.
thanks for watching. - Игры
Quality is kinda garbage since I recorded it at 1600x900, as I like to play windowed, and then I shoved it into a video editor without changing any of the exporting quality settings, so it looks blurry at times.
I will go to sleep now since it is almost 3 AM...
Steal Havel's ring next 😈
This video reminded me of when I was still struggling against Black Knights early on. Nowadays the parry timing feels so natural to me that its almost an afterthought to come down and beat this guy. But I still remember struggling so much when I first played the game, so much I just completely avoided him altogether. Nice job taking him out, I hope it felt good.
It did feel good. I’ve beaten this game a couple years ago on switch like once, so it feels pretty new to me, especially since I was playing dark souls 3 before this. This feels a lot slower, which isn’t a bad thing.
dark souls 1 will always such special aura
yeah I love every one of them. I played all three, and they were all fun.
ds1 is so simple though which is what I appreciate out of it the most.
@@ChuuNebyouMy Boy, you telling me you beat all 3 Souls games, but you struggled 2 fucking minutes to beat a black knight? Boy, beating any Souls game must have taken you ages
@@michipe6712the games were fine to beat, I just have problems parrying stuff in general.
@@michipe6712 On keyboard, by the look of it.
@@michipe6712 in his defense, when I came back to dark souls 1 after a long time away, I struggled against a black knight and I glitchless speedran ds3 in 46 mins when it came out, beat every boss sl6 without upgrading weapon (ds1).
I can't prove the first one as didn't record it but 2nd one I have footage of, anyhow my point is if even an experienced player can initially struggle relearning black knight, I'm gonna give a pass to someone who has beat each game once
His precious useless ring, that is
at least it looks pretty...
I mean not really, not with how DS1 calculates damage.
@@THISISYOUTUUUUUUUUBE Especially with how ds1 calculates damage. Unless you're wearing full havel/some really high quality armour and have a pretty decent life pool, you won't need the defense boost it gives you, cause you'll die anyway with 1 more hit in most cases.
But by the time you reach said health pool/ decent armour you probably have better options for rings, like Havel's or the golden one from Lautrec
Nice parries
I leave these guys out in my playthrough until I get the silver serpent ring and 10 humanity,so I can get the black knight gear later on from one of them XD
well played
madlad
This black knight beat me so hard, I deleted the game.
I bet you can beat it
When I first played this game I wanted to break the disk in half. Over a decade on I'm still coming back to it and playing
fine work neb :3
I was struggling a bit in the beginning
@@ChuuNebyouYour shield hitbox may have to hit the knight when you parry.
@@LuminousLeadjust parrying the weapon will do, but it's a good idea to parry up fairly close. The parry timing is the biggest element and quickly recognising which move they are doing (in pve)
Try with no parry or block next.
pain...
