This car has such a funny ecu.
After 4.5K it barley pulls the car and doesn't change the gear and keeps pushing slowly till 6K rpm.

I've bought an Kia 1.6 crdi for my wife. At first was this slow, but after a while, with me at the wheel, the max speed increased from 140 to 180!

I have sport version of this car for 8 years. It's tiptronic 113ps and I was thinking my car is slow because of 4 speed old school transmission and fuel economy last gear ratio, but damn now I realize my car is fast. I can hit 150 like drinking water.

This Mazda does have broken gearbox clutch for sure. I used to drive exactly the same 1.4 automatic I it was much better on high rpm
I own a DY 1,25 with 75hp 5gear manual... it runs 180 on the clock... half the time of this

Mam taką. Rocznik '05, 230 tkm. Od 0-100 w 12.5 sek. Max jechałem 170kmh ale to już na nią za dużo. ~130 wystarczy.

I absolutely agree. Our DY has almost 200000 km and shows no sign of age. It likes to drive at low revs. You should keep that in mind if you have one.
Not true Vauxhall corsa ecotech, are way more economic and way faster, but my Mazda 2 , 1.25 petrol is faster than this one
Even the latest subcompacts start feeling twitchy over 100 km/h. Take one hand off the wheel and you'll feel like the car will crash.

that's why they turned to dsg gearboxes at low powered cars. torque converter takes all the power so that's why the car is slow slow.if that Mazda had manual gearbox it will easily do 0-100 at 12-13 seconds and top speed 170-180km/h

Hello. Please drive OPEL Astra 1999 1,6 mono 75 hp, benzin. I am currently driving such an Opel (hatchback) and I have reached 160 km / h without much effort on a straight section without bumps, but with crosswinds. By the way, on the dashboard of the car there is a sticker that says 160 km / h max. :D

Meiner ist Baugleich, nur als Schalter und mit dem schaff ich 200km/h. Dauert zwar bis der auf die Geschwindigkeit kommt aber es klappt. Ich fahr immer Je nachdem wie der Verkehr ist, 180-200 km/h, deshalb bin ich sehr verwundert über das Testergebnis

Chyba jest zepsuta powyżej 5000 obrotów już nie idzie a zmiana na cięższy bieg lepiej przyspiesza. Jeździłem autem dużo cięższym 85KM bez turbiny zwykły diesel i znacznie lepiej przyspieszał dużo cięższy! i max prędkość zawsze 190 km/h osiągał bez problemów a nawet więcej z wiatrem (-;.
