Yes please, a video on your carbon black pens would be interesting. The Kinbor looks to be a great planner for those who don't hefty to have the branded variety. Thank you for reviewing it. Jinhao also have a VP style like the Majohn, Jinhao 10.
Thanks for showing moonman- wondering about that! Regarding kinbor - I did a whole video going into some company info… but I don’t know if it’s actually tomoe river paper or similar but it definitely works with my fountain pens. Obviously when people say a tomoe river paper book - it’s a different batch and even hobonichi has specific tomoe river paper at 47gsm for their books - so it’s hard to know what you are getting as there are inconsistencies. But it also depends what you are using, because I mostly write with EF nibs and don’t have issues and as a newbie I don’t notice much difference in papers. Regarding kinbor though, there are quality issues - November is misspelled in the linear calendar part and sometimes the page is a bit misaligned because quality is less given the price point. If you usually trash your planners I feel like budget options are better but hobonichi definitely feels more like something you will archive!
They also have A5 size as well 😊 just ordered my kinbor A6 and “weeks” to try out and see how do as I get back into journaling. Thanks for the great info and video!
if you likw the Heavier pen stick with the Pilot VP or the Moonman a1 but if you like the Decimo try the A2 because its made of all plastic and it has one of the smoothese ef nibs I have every used I love it i'm thinking about buying another one
Thank you so much for this video, especially the Panda alternative to the Hobonichi! that't really helpful!! 💖
So glad you liked it!
I‘m curious who wins the Carbon Black challenge ☺️ I enjoyed your pro and con list

I'll probably share it once I start using it.
I have a watercolor palette set up with Jane Blundell's recommendations as well. I just need to get back to practicing...lol.
You can do it! I love it.

The smaller sizes don't work well for me.
I love my Kinbors! I just did a video on mine, too.
So cool!
Re Majohn A1, I've been putting VP nibs in them for over a year and the bodies are virtually indisguishable.
