- Using an 80m end fed as the main antenna and 160m end fed as the aux. antenna I demonstrate how the 1026 can totally phase out a signal.
We are listening to 1690 khz. WMLB in Atlanta (talk radio) and WPTX oldies music in Mechanicsville, MD. Both are 1,000 watts and this is at 10PM. here in North Carolina.
The 1026 is able to phase out either station. An amazing device!
You can hear the click of the 1026's off/on switch. Наука
I'm so impressed at how good the MFJ-1026 works. I've been dealing with a S8 to S9 noise on 80 meters in the evening for months now, but the 1026 can knock down to a S3. I thought it was RFI from within my house until a week ago when killed the Main Breaker to the house, and with the FTdx 3000 run on a deep cycle battery I still had the same S9 noise. Two city blocks away is an Electrical Substation, I'm sure it's coming from there. All other electrical for blocks around is under ground.
I had an ATT spot beam malfunction killing my house last year. EVERYTHING receive a weird cycling clicking

Well done
Interesting!
My MFJ-1026 eliminates the qrm on the 40m totally. I use and End Fed as main antenne and parallel to it a long wire antenne as auxilary. Pre-amp on. I changed some jumpers inside to make it work.
Dang
I'm late
I also have a MFJ-1026 but I don't have satisfatory results... I made a dedicated aux antenna and tried a lot of adjustments and nothing helped...
Usually the problem is that the dedicated aux antenna is not picking up the noise as well as your main antenna therefor the MFJ has nothing to work with.
I quit on any mfj a long long time ago. That is anything made in china.
Made in china?
Made in Starkville, MS.
