I've also been having some issues with RFI at my place. Egyptian Electric came out a few weeks ago and changed out the
transformer feeding my house. It helped some, but there is still a problem from them or the DSL line coming into my house.
    Great video!

For almost a year November 2020 up until October 2021, I was getting this Raspy type electric razor sound that was S5 all the time 24 hours.
I took my Noise locating antenna, and I walked and drove up and down the road for a couple of miles. I found the pole with the noise. I called our power company (Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative) about 5 times. I was really nice and offered to show them the problem.
They came out a couple times and did some work, but it really didn't help. Then one day, I came home and turned my radio on and it was gone. It's been gone since the last week of October 2021.
I hope it stays gone. out here in the country where I live, my noise floor is around S1.5 to S3. It's been that way for 3 decades now. I purchased my magnetic loop and to my surprise, I could null it completely. But the loop didn't give me the big signal-grabbing power of the alpha delta. So I got the MFJ-1026 and I could completely remove it with that.
But now that the noise is gone, I can use it to lower the atmosphere noise and boost signals. If the noise comes back, I'll be ready.
But I will tell you, I was very close to just leaving shortwave listening after 40+ years because of that noise.

At what point do you install it. After the radio and before the amp and antenna tunner. Tnx. Kn4 s yx

I only use a receiver not a transceiver. But my main antenna (Alpha Delta DX-Ultra inverted V Dipole) goes into the main antenna jack on the back of the 1026. My second antenna goes into the Auxiliary Antenna jack on the back of the 1026. Then on the back of the 1026, a jumper from Radio jack to the antenna jack on the back of my receivers. Since I live in a quiet environment, I can turn down the gain like turning a volume control down. I can then phase 2 separate antennas to boost, or cancel out any interference or reduce noise.
If your using a transceiver, the MAIN ANTENNA connector on the 1026 should connect to the input of a stations power amplifier or to the rest of the station accessories, such as wattmeter or antenna tuned

Nice! Would that work on the SDRPlay RSP also? Or do you do all of the interference control via SDR Uno?

Yeah it would work with any radio. Your antenna goes into the 1026 and out to the radio. If your using it with a SDRplay, you would need a pl-259 to sma adapter since the MFJ uses SO-239 connection on the back.

What antenna of yours are you using for the noise canceling?

My noise-canceling antenna is an Alpha Delta DX-sloper I cut down to about 15 feet long. I wasn't using it and it is mounted about 10 feet off the ground from the front corner of my house to a tree. My Alpha Delta DX-Ultra is my main antenna.
So, the cut AD sloper is hooked to the auxiliary ( noise antenna jack), and the AD DX-Ultra is connected to the Main antenna gain on the MFJ 1026.
