Highschool was so intense! But Miles, I want to tell you that the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer Hype isn't a bunch of BS. It really works! Pores don't show through my foundation and texture is smoothed out! And my face hasn't broken out in rebellion, which is great because I'm just getting over a new skincare product that my skin wasn't feeling. Also on the Sephora app there is a code to get 2 skincare products if you spend $35 and one of the products offered is a deluxe sample of Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer! Those deluxe samples of products like primer can last a long time. I just can't keep a good thing to myself!

My advice wasn’t asked for, but when you color correct make sure you put concealer/foundation OVER the part you’ve corrected, that way it goes back to a neutral skin tone. No t no shade, I love you girl and I wanna help. 🌸💕

MilesJaiProductions I guess that corrected is just super orange on you. It definitely corrected, it just still looked a little orange, that’s all. That glitter is bomb though 😭✨

I wish I had transitioned in high school and did prom RIGHT. I have this gorgeous navy cold shoulder prom dress with rhinestone strap details lined in blush satin that fits me LIKE A GLOVE and idk why I bought it I'm 28 now and literally have no events to wear it to. But girl does it look pretty sitting in my closet, and it ended up costing me $9 out of pocket. Thanks, job perks!

My prom was was last Saturday actually and it was great. I’m kinda the only black kid sorta scenario (5 in my graduating class) so everyone was surprised when I did a cornrowed up do. They loved and I got tons of compliments ofc💕💕💕. Funds were tight for me too and have been the past couple of years. I took a 90s formal dress and added a corset in the back + lowered the zipper to get it to fit. Everything worked out great.

Oh goodness, I'm remembering that in high school I was BARELY starting to discover makeup my senior year. I liked to do winged eyeliner and mascara and ZERO face makeup. My mom and sister did my makeup for prom and it turned out pretty, thankfully!
