Palkis Sharma speech at Oxford Union was an insult to the common Indian public. She as pleasing one person or political party not the country.

My question was not raised so I am posting it here so it goes on record. Sanket and Palki both are husband-wife.
Palki Sharma's comparison of Dhruv Rathee to a "German cockroach" was an unwarranted personal attack and a blatant attempt at vilification. By drawing parallels between Rathee's Indian origins and the invasive nature of cockroaches, she degraded him as a human being and resorted to undignified name-calling. This kind of rhetoric not only undermines civil discourse but also reflects poorly on Sharma's journalistic integrity.
While political disagreements are natural in a democracy, resorting to such dehumanizing language is unacceptable. It perpetuates an unhealthy culture of toxicity and polarization, making constructive dialogue nearly impossible. As a public figure, Sharma should have exercised restraint and focused on substantive critiques rather than resorting to thinly-veiled insults and character assassination.
Her actions are particularly concerning given her influential position in the media landscape. Such behavior from prominent journalists sets a poor precedent and can potentially normalize the vilification of dissenting voices. A healthy democracy thrives on diverse perspectives and robust debates, not personal attacks and degradation of individuals based on their ideological leanings.
Only right winger hindutva English-knowing types like Palki.Her popularity has gone down a lot.

Honest, free and fair journalism contributes in building the character of a Nation.
As long as regular tv news does not improve and become neutral RUclips news will keep growing but here also if it becomes sycophantic people will switch off. Same with newspapers. Any serious person will read The Hindu or Indian Express rather than Times of India which has degraded itself since 2013 because of Modi.

Incisive, enlightening and fascinating view into the mind of a thinking journalist provided by a master interviewer. Also provides reassuring insight into the minds of the viewing public.
Fully agree with Sanket’s views esp. on telling the truth which can be anti or pro establishment/powers that be. Many times, world over including in India, the pendulum swings to both extremes either Right or Left. No credibility left in them and I cannot stand them. That is also theirs and society’s biggest problem these days.
Mr. Sanjeth is one of the respected journalists in Indian journalist history.
A program on the Acts and Truths of people coming to the stage of TV programs of argumentative entity, would throw light on reality..
I am one of them I never used to miss my 9 pm news . But I now I prefer to watch national geographic or sports then the thrash that is being asked us to swallow.

Fedex cAe is a classical case. Recently one friend of mine got a call from a whatsApp number with a profile picture of a police man telling that your son is arrested in a rape case and asking for money to release.
Open free defecation is a myth. Toilets without running water and an absent sewage system is the reality on the ground. There is no drinking water in many parts of India never mind flushing toilets. Construction of houses and toilets is absolutely disgraceful even for mice to live in.
Glad that Sanket who had compromised his career with Adani 24x7 after having everyone left the Channel...... Finally he too has come as a free journalist.

Yes. That alarmist tone. Despite it. It's like someone journalistically crying wolf. At some point your brain just shuts it out. I stopped watching because of Palki Sharma because of this very reason. I do not rely of any single or two or three news sources to obtain my version of truth and even so I know the truth that is distilled will be an approximation.

Nice points discussed. Sanket is so right saying keep it simple and clean/ truthful. Constant High Energy talk comes out as a shouting . Doesn’t create any energy but gives fatigue. It’s distracting. Hope it comes back to basics.

I just came to know he is married to Palki, I dare to imagine how he manage to live with such a shrewd & venomous woman. I used to love her journalistic brilliance, but the way she has started boot licking of RW is so shameful. She should have supported her husband in independent journalism.
