  • Today we look back at and really dig into the Finnish military's pist/35 or L-35 Pistol. Most Americans think of it as just the Lahti because it was yet another interesting design from Finland's very own Aimo Lahti. The L-35 was produced in several runs between 1935 and 1945 by VKT, and then in the 1950s under the factory's new name of Valmet. Then in 1985 to celebrate half a century of history and service, one final batch of pistols was released.
Featured handguns in this video include both an original Finnish Valmet L-35 and Swedish Husqvarna M/40, as well as a Finnish reworked DWM Luger M.08.
