9:13 The blow instrument is a variation of some sort of Ney, it's Middle Eastern/Turkish. The notes sound "off" sometimes but they're not according to our scale. It needs getting used to but it's really satisfying when you start to feel it.
The flute is actually called Ney, it's mostly used in the middle east and especially used in Turkish music in the Ottoman Empire. Some of the hardest flutes out there to learn...

its normal to play with 4 sticks on the marimba, but not normal to play as well as he did. he hadalot of phrasing and character to his playing. i marched for 3 years and even got an offer to march professionally. i played everything in the pit, every marching drum you can name, and i was a keyboardist too. that guys marimba skill is on another level. truly beautiful playing and technique.
If ichika asks you if he can play your guitar, that's like if you're favorite singer asked "hey can I sing with you?" Such a high praise coming from one of The Greats 🙏

He is very nice and polite. No silly remarks, or anything. Somehow I imagine this as very Japanese way to behave. My deepest respect and admiration, I like that a lot. I've never understood what do Japanese like about Western lifestyle, and why they want to behave the way Westerners do.
The Japanese people are very unique in this world.....not at all like us westerners, heaven forbid! They respect their elders, have pride in their environment, are humble and sensitive.
@@1953lili Japanese are a mixed bag in real life, there is a lot about them I respect or almost admire, on the other hand they have some pretty dark parts in their history with some insanely cruel treatment of civilians in the neighboring countries. They also have special cars in their trains and metros for females only because of high number of male weirdos and freaks often harassing women and girls. And... you wouldn't wanna bump into same of Japanese porn... trust me on this one. :D

The flute like instrument is a "ney" Ichika! My dad plays it aswell, it is used in middle eastern music in different ways but in Turkey it is considered a traditional instrument that is closely connected with the mevlevi culture. Thanks for liking it :D

10:00 it is turkish flute "kaval", also check "ney" as heavenly flute. Another instrument you can interest "kanun". These are really close sound to japanese ancient instruments. You can hear and feel similarities well. Thanks for your effort! ❤
