I’m so happy that Ichika said “nice guitar riff” to me and even happier that he actually laughed at my joke
Its the legend! Thanks for all your content
i was happy to see you in here haha
your videos are hella creative
love you too danny!!!!
Thank you for that!
Yooo so happy to see you here!
Putting an image of someone’s head on a headless guitar is an idea I will now steal
At 2:12, for those who don't know, KIO actually designs these unusual instruments. Very cool stuff, reactions to fan content are always so heartwarming.
@@milathemute Woah no way, I didn't realize that was a Wish! I've never been fortunate enough to play one of Steve's instruments, but I knew a guy who had one. They're really wild.
Imagine what the guitar case would look ikr like ☠️
9:13 The blow instrument is a variation of some sort of Ney, it's Middle Eastern/Turkish. The notes sound "off" sometimes but they're not according to our scale. It needs getting used to but it's really satisfying when you start to feel it.
Do u know which song ichika is playing for that part?
not Turkish but Armenian. called "duduk"
@@fuzietheone its from the old ottoman empire so its a an instrument native to many different countries
@@A-Wa duduk existed way before the ottoman empire :)

KIO is probably backflipping after hearing Ichika's request

hi, this is ian, the second piano cover! i'm so excited you liked and put it in a video, always happy to be a part of your music! keep being great 💛💛💛
Hi Ichika, loved the video. How is your English going? My Japanese is pretty bad still. I can have a 10 second long conversation about umbrellas though. I know learning a language is hard sometimes. The whole community believes in you. You can do it!
That’s a pretty impressive start to your Japanese! Could be very important some day haha. Learning Japanese is very challenging but very fun. がんばってね!(Ganbatte ne!)
それわいいね。
do u want to have a 10 second conversation about umbrellas rn? im also a jp learner lol im a beginner tho
その青傘はどこですか
I'm also learning japanese and I can tell is very hard! I can ask if is there any vegan options in a restaurant and how to confirm the prices upon placing an order at the store or at paying the bill at a restaurant, going to Tokyo in 2023 on my vacation so I need to work harder on it, ganbatte!
私も!一年ごろ日本語を勉強している
The flute is actually called Ney, it's mostly used in the middle east and especially used in Turkish music in the Ottoman Empire. Some of the hardest flutes out there to learn...
It’s also similar to Armenian duduk
Flutes were a mistake.
Actually its kaval
At first I was thinking it sounded like Japanese Shakuhachi, but it's quite a bit thinner. It produces surprisingly deep and airy tones though.

Seeing you talking about your songs and supporting people who follow you is so precious omg 💞💞
takayan is a banger
@@tkn0. good isn't it? I love his songs too omg
Takayan pfp yoo
I always find it fascinating to see how each musician can rearrange and interpret a song in a very personal way, and create something new with it!
hey I know you!!! lololol
The previous two parts were very fun to watch, so I'm glad to see that you did a new one!
Still waiting for D A F A C C tuning someday it will happen

I am so happy that you are making these videos. Even if rare, they are always a treat. You can see yourself that you are inspiring talented people, while at the same time see the appreciation we all have for the thousands of hours you've put into this. You have the ability to complement where compliments are due no matter their approach, and the entertainment value is top notch. As always, our wish is that you keep doing what you're doing.
Cheers, an amateur musician from Norway.
Ichikasan, the instrument in 9:10 is calling Ney, Nei or Reed Flulet. It is a mission critical part of Turkish Sufi Music. Turkish people call it as "Ney".

これからの活動も応援しています。
Yeeesss Danny Yau!! The boy have a great channel and deserves more recognition!
OMG Thank you so much for the compliment on my piano cover! You are the best 😭 Cheers!
While common at harder levels, playing the marimba with four mallets is still a skill that takes time to learn. The marimba player did great.
Yes ichika, you are a legend and an Idol for so many of us guitarist and musicians alike.
Together, collectively, we love your contribution to music and you as a fellow human.
Keep trailblazing for us that lack the courage or resources to do so..
I'm a simple person, I see Ichika smiling in the thumbnail, I click
7:30 such badass riff and drum are so cool the end choice on the drum amazing love
pls make a full playthrough of illusory sense ichikaa, i've been loving the song for like 3 years straight already
dude i swear it's on my spotify's on repeat for like how many months now
My absolute favorite Ichika song, I’m so down to see he plays that song again, nothing short of incredible
ruclips.net/video/rwH4yN8cGWo/видео.html i think this is his full ver
@@caster7376 He actually does (or did) have a video of this song on his old channel.
@@absolutezeroist11 yeah i think i've seen that, but most of them are just parts of the song. a full playthrough would be nicer though
its normal to play with 4 sticks on the marimba, but not normal to play as well as he did. he hadalot of phrasing and character to his playing. i marched for 3 years and even got an offer to march professionally. i played everything in the pit, every marching drum you can name, and i was a keyboardist too. that guys marimba skill is on another level. truly beautiful playing and technique.
Thank you so much for your kind words!
Hey Ichika!! So stoked you checked out my cover. I think I've covered maybe 10+ of your riffs on my channel at this point! I love playing drums to your music!!😁
It was great! Gave me some serious Endless Sporadic vibes
I made an edit of all my covers! ruclips.net/video/H9qo48xuIec/видео.html
(What it might sound like if Ichika had a whole album with drums) 😘
Two thumbs up!👍👍
@@dw33b_lolz I did not just see someone reference AES outside of their official youtube channel. YES. Also, @sam sartorius you should keep sending those to Ichika until you guy start a band (online)
@@PoorStargazer i second this I would like to see a collab
I love the drum cover, I think it blends really well
I love that you did this video, and you put together a great selection of talented musicians paying hommage to another unique talented musician.
So many outstanding creative poeple out there.
Ichika! It is so wonderful to see you doing more of these videos! Although you play beautifully we love to hear your voice and see your lovely face (★^O^★)
Keep doing you, I love the way your channel flows and all the albums and arrangement is amazing. Your style is immaculate and so is your soul. SHINE ON GOOD SIR
When you realize theres talented guitarists all around the globe
"what is this guitar" "i really want this guitar" 😂😂😂
The flute really elevated that piece to something entirely new. That was great.
I was always looking forward for another fan cover video since the last one. Thanks ichika🔥❤️
Valhalla Reverb is incredibly useful! It's unbelievably versatile and sounds great too. Plus it's free!
(NOT AN AD. I just love the plugin.)
You finally saw it. It's an honor. I hope you can listen to my song someday. You are my role model.
I'm so happy to see you review my playing! Thank you!
Talent Alarm on this Side of youtube glad i found this Guitar Samurai of the Olymp. You are the type of Being i didn't find to play with till now. Friend you are a Majestical Artist by yourself. Great to see this kind of Talent because i thought it would die out soon.
It's heart warming to see someone so dedicated to their craft with this much humility.
This video is why you're the ultimate dude! Just an artist stoked on artists working with your content and riffs. Respect you highly and will always support!
OMG WHEN I SAW THE SWEET COVER !! i have waited sooo long to see him react to that video
never heard your voice! you are one of the greats my friend. much love
It's nice to see you mesmerized by these fan videos, A couple made me tear up. Music is so powerful.
Im glad he keeps up with fan content!
you are so sweet, and caring, and modest at HOW you approach and comment on your covers....such a good soul! Wish you happiness and good health....Always!
Ichika is so calm and so good at guitar. I really enjoy his music and am working on playing bass to some of your songs :) If you do end up seeing this, keep on doing what you are doing dude :)
Ichika, you’re awesome! You’ve inspired me, and many, many others! Never stop making guitar videos!
Ayyy I knew Danny would get on this video, he's by far the best guitarist in terms of releasing a polyphia cover as early as possible. One day he's gonna release covers of polyphia songs that haven't even released yet.
All of them are just crazy good! seeing how happy and touched you while you listen those great covers / collaborations just makes me very happy! Thank you for all of your great songs and videos!
Thank you for the vid! We look forward to more fan-based content reactions!
Their covers are truly a work of art ❤
So glad he saw Danny yau and JunSoo park they’re such good guitarists 😫
If ichika asks you if he can play your guitar, that's like if you're favorite singer asked "hey can I sing with you?" Such a high praise coming from one of The Greats 🙏
This made my day. Had a rough one today. Thanks for reminding me there is good in the world still.
That drum cover made your song an instant anime theme song.
Like it wasn't already....
And this is what I love about you.
Not only do you play wonderful and exceptional music, but you inspire people too.
Thanks so much for all your recordings, Ichika Nito
7:31 in some of the greatest music ive ever heard
Oooohh. I really like the drum one. Ichika and this guy should definitely be in a band together!!!
All of these piano covers just reminds me how much Ichika's guitar playing style resembles a left and right hand- i would have thought he came from piano. Great to see these covers done!
Very inspiring to see you showing love to other musicians. So many talented people with their unique takes on your music, simply beautiful!
Wow...I discovered many talents here...Thanks for sharing! 🌎🇨🇵
That flute-like insteument was 'ney'
What a great talented guys in this video and Ichica was amazed by them like any other! Love what music does!
the drum guy’s amazing!!! my mouth was like😧 the whole time
いちかさん、たまには喋る動画もええやん!
ruclips.net/video/H9qo48xuIec/видео.html
very nice video man, oh yeah the last one where there was a piano and a harp, 2 people were playing it, the one who played the piano is a guy called erzloh and the girl who played the harp was Syzalith
At 3:48 you can see him downloading information on how to play the arpeggio... He's now a master at that instrument at 3:53
There is much beauty in what you do for these musicians. Beautiful Souls make beautiful music.
9:13 sounds something that would appear at a JRPG, a character talking about his painful past, PS1-PS2 game lol
Pumped to see Danny finally get featured somewhere!
i like how you are honest and do not gaslight people. i can tell you are a very honest individual and that is commendable.
Dude you are so down to earth so humble you rock and you play a mean axe!
Wow you’ve inspired so many musicians to make such cool covers! 😮
You are just amazing, Ichika! :) and so humble, love youuuu!
いちかさんのギター神秘的で大好きです!応援してます!
I was the rapper in the Chon shirt from the first fan cover video, so nice to see this tradition is still going strong :)
It’s funny that Ichika made the same comment on KIOs guitar just like he did years ago
Hello Ichika, the instrument is called Ney. You can check Mercan Dede for some songs. Waiting for a gig in Turkey.
Never though I’d see anyone play a song by Ichika Nito on a les Paul. Wow. He did a good job though. 😊
The flute like instrument is a "ney" Ichika! My dad plays it aswell, it is used in middle eastern music in different ways but in Turkey it is considered a traditional instrument that is closely connected with the mevlevi culture. Thanks for liking it :D
Sorry I saw someone already posted about it
Such good stuff. I just recently discovered you're content in the band Polyphia. I could lay down and relax listening to you're music. Amazing.
この企画好きです😊いつもとは違った雰囲気で楽しんでいます🤗Ichikaさんの優しいお喋りと一瞬聞こえた関西弁が良かったぁ😆😆
Would love to see Ichika do more tutorial videos, he'd be a great teacher, such a mellow personality... it'd be like guitar tai chi! ❤️
your expressions are really showing your own personality :)) good luck Ichika.
Ichika, love you so much bro! I've been following you since January 2020, it's really great to see you interacting with the community like this, keep it up! YOU ROCK!
The riff you did for that Jared Dines Djent video is still my favorite in that whole video, that shit SLAPPED.
Wow the last one with the harp and piano is freakin
amazing!
Incrível o seu senso de humor assistindo os vídeos, como eu queria que no meu país existissem pessoas mais humildes como você Nito. Obrigado por mostrar seu conhecimento para nós na guitarra, e nos ajudar a evoluir como músicos.
Incredible covers! 🌟
10:00 it is turkish flute "kaval", also check "ney" as heavenly flute. Another instrument you can interest "kanun". These are really close sound to japanese ancient instruments. You can hear and feel similarities well. Thanks for your effort! ❤
kaval ile ney farklı yasemincim
+1 for the Valhalla reverb recommendation. It's really good!
KIO Designs Stringed instruments are wild peices of art, that one is tame compared to the rest... You gotta play one of the big boy art piece ones!
Amazing as always.
One thing : The guitar from KIO would have been AMAZING in the MV "Away". The MV gave me a nice druid vibe - just like the guitar.
Your hair is on point
2:48 hold up that singer was incredible! Those runs are so impressive. She has great control.
She was obviously lip syncing
@@sausages6135 bro what? Yes she is lip syncing for the video, but it's to her own audio lmao. She still sang that.
drum cover is so good!
Ichika you should made a full version song with the drumming guy. It has a lot of potential
Absolutely love these longer videos
just started the vid and immediately a Goated arrangement
I wouldnt be surprised if I heard Nichika's music in any movie or anime series, i can imagine his songs fitting a few series actually. Maybe Makoto Shinkai movies?
Hi, @ichika nito! If the drum cover tells us anything, it’s that you need to put together a band (even if it is all instrumental) and rock out. Your song writing is insanely unique and I’d love to hear them with the fuller sound of a bass and drums backing your guitar.
he's in a few bands
Then you will love ichikoro -- an instrumental band ichika is a part of. They have a few songs released. My personal favorites are "Enemy" and "Ally"
he's also in a band called dios !! the vocalist (tanaka) and keyboardist (sasanomaly) are just as ridiculously skilled as ichika and together they make some really beautiful stuff, they dropped their first album 'castle' not too long ago and every single song on it is amazing 😭😭😭
He is in a few bands, but I think ichika playing his guitar part first, followed by a drummer playing to style would fit better than whatever order is bands do.
i love how the subtitles explain the 25 secret meanings to "sugoi" and "meccha ii"
Ichika-san is still only in his 20s but already inspiring countless younger players. Awesome.
