I like Shawn but maybe Bam Bam has deeper issues than he's ready to reveal right now. The way he says, "I Dont like people touching me or grabbing me" could be because he was sexually assaulted in some way. Not saying that he was but we do have to respect everyone's boundaries and what they're comfortable with. I'm not saying he acted like I would have but I don't want to judge him so quickly for stating his boundaries. Consent is necessary whenever you're entering into someone's personal space, not just sex. Just my thoughts.🤷🏾♀️

This was a solid episode. One of my favourites, much love to the cast and especially Karon for the amazing job!
I’m still Team BamBam but this argument couldn’t easily been avoided if either party just walked away. I get where BamBam is coming from and hearing about his past probably has a lot to do with him trusting and opening up to people. I will add though that I’m pretty sure Sean was just trying to be a nice person but it just came off wrong because Bam doesn’t really know him like that. Overall I hope by the Reunion these two boys resolve their problem because I actually like them both.

I see both of their points of view. Bam seems like he needs to warm up to someone over time and Shawn is more outgoing. I still think we have to be respectful of boundaries. Just because someone seems quiet and isn't interacting doesn't mean they aren't enjoying themselves.

I have to agree with Bam Bam on this one. I know people are commenting saying Shawn was being friendly but he was doin too much. He said he go by Bam he say he don't want to call him by that he want his government. That's what got things off to a rocky start. Bam standing there feeling out the room and Shawn think he should be more social,...leave him alone and let him do him damn. Then the touching... Bam thing was just step back and chill, you don't know me and I'm sure several people in here would react the same way.

Unpopular opinion: Bam Bam has a point to distance himself. Sean was trying to be friendly but if someone is clearly showing you that they don’t wanna be a part, that’s not your cue to be OD and include them.

Here are my thoughts on first episode
I love the cast already because there is diversity among come ups. There's a stripper, cam model, event coordinator, RUclipsrs, singer, & marketing consultant. These guys are very attractive & they seem like they are about their hustle.
My first impression of Bam Bam
I think he's unique, sexy, reserved, & strong minded.
My first impression of Shawn
He's cute, a good time (one to party with) & friendly.
My opinion on Bam Bam & Shawn's altercation.
-I think if someone asks to be called by the name of their choice it should be respected.
-I think Shawn had good intentions when trying to get to know Bam Bam but it came off the wrong way. Bam Bam already has his guard up & is a bit reserved when it comes to meeting new people. If I saw Bam Bam sitting by himself I would have tried to talked him as well, be friendly & if he seem bothered I would have left him alone because sometimes you gotta read the room & Bam Bam already gives off "tread lightly energy". I think Shawn touching Bam Bam was an inviting & friendly gesture but when you don't know someone or know what they've been through touching them could trigger something. I hope they can become friends because I like them both already. Jermarcus is fine & I absolutely love his voice I hope he makes it big. ❤❤❤ GREAT PREMIERE EPISODE KARON

I understand where Bam Bam was coming from. Im not overly friendly either so when someone that I don't know comes that is super friendly and touchy I get uncomfortable. From the outside looking in I understand that the guy was just trying to be cool and make Bam comfortable since he appeared to be standoffish. It was just a little clash of personalities and something that can be fixed with a little communication
I think I'm going to love JerMarcus.... he's very talented. He's passionate. I hear it in his voice when he sings. I love it the zeal in how he expresses his talents.

I feel as though because Bam Bam is a person who suffers from abandonment- it’s hard for him to deal with new approaches. And, yes, they’re all still learning about each other stories. However, for him, it’s going to take him a while to get comfortable with expressing his feelings to strangers. But, we cannot blame Bam Bam for the encounter that took place at the party. Because countless times he expressed his feelings to Shawn, that he wasn’t that girl and politely walked away. Shawn was the one that continued to pry. Therefore, Shawn needs to learn how to read a room. If someone is refusing to vibe with you - that’s not your cue to turn that encounter into a talking segment. Leave that person alone and stop disturbing their peace!! I get it that he was trying to make small talk, but sis was doing too much.
