Those are values, qualities and virtues not limited to stoicism. It's wisdom. 🤷🏽 I do feel stoics should strengthen their character and develop an internal strength and reputation for living in their beliefs. Some definitely have to work on that external disdain and relentless need to punish those not on that path, though. You can't elevate by tearing others down, limiting or blocking their growth, even if it's in a different direction.
I really appreciate the encouragement not to pursue social status and luxuries. I'm a simple person and don't like wearing fancy clothes and current fashion. However, I can see the difference in social connections at church with those who do. Thank you for the encouragement to continue the pursuit of simplicity, temperance, and gratitude.

Why is it so different for women??
Idk but this made more sense for me (as a women) than most of the other videos on stoicism. Perhaps it honors natural differences among women. 🤷🏽♀️

Those are values, qualities and virtues not limited to stoicism. It's wisdom. 🤷🏽
I do feel stoics should strengthen their character and develop an internal strength and reputation for living in their beliefs.
Some definitely have to work on that external disdain and relentless need to punish those not on that path, though. You can't elevate by tearing others down, limiting or blocking their growth, even if it's in a different direction.

I really appreciate the encouragement not to pursue social status and luxuries. I'm a simple person and don't like wearing fancy clothes and current fashion. However, I can see the difference in social connections at church with those who do. Thank you for the encouragement to continue the pursuit of simplicity, temperance, and gratitude.

Stoicism is the same for both men and women. Why make an arbitrary distinction?
I looked it up for women because I feel like intent of it being geared towards the feminine helps me connect to it more in this patriarchal society 😅 just me?
Why? To get women to click on the thumbnail and watch the video. This is RUclips after all.
Stoicism is the art of being a good slave from one slave to another. Of course they want women to be slaves more so than men. It's always been that way.
