Dude, this scene had me so emotional. Just her discovering these toys and things that originally belonged to her, it was almost as if her childhood was ripped from her.
That's because it probably was.
Thats what happened to her, she had to fit into a mold. And out of anger. She made sure all princesses should, she made thr school and voala
Bouncy Banana I don't think that's the case. She had forgotten her name and her "Heinous" persona was probably because she had been brainwashed, perhaps by St Olga itself. She could have been the first victim of the school and Olga herself.
But who started the school? Plus, what do they have to gain from erasing her memories? More importantly, who made that temple with the zodiac?
St.Olga is a real person. The school was a reference to her and her medieval ways while she was in power of her kingdom (ie. burning people’s homes because they tried to stand up against her, killing her supposed to be fiancee by luring the three visitors from another kingdom by burning them inside a sauna)
It's true sad that Meteora didn't end up having more relevance later on. I always felt like she should've been the one to defeat Mina.
Mina represents everything that was wrong with Solaria. And Meteora represents the bond between monsters and Mewmans.
A fight between the two would've been a great way to contrast these opposite beliefs.
Well Meteora as she is in this clip wouldn't have been much better than Mina. I think Star's ideals were a great contrast to Mina's, especially since Star grew up admiring her. Eclipsa would have been a nice contrast, but she didn't understand Mewmans well enough where Star did. She was trying to find a peaceful middle and coexistence where Eclipsa would have been fine screwing over Mewmans in favor for the monsters. I feel like they definitely nerfed Star (and Eclipsa) in the end
Meteora could have an interesting development but honestly never did anything possitive, she is just pityfull.

I just really love how you can feel what Heinous/Meteora is experiencing when she starts remembering. And from the looks of it, Star did too. She's actually seeing how a life and family was basically ruined by, most likely, her own ancestor's actions
poor meteora he childhood was stolen for her...she had a lovely home until a evil king took it away from her. :(
A very nice twist and reveal. You can't help, but feel sorry for Meteora. She was a innocent child who got dealt a rotten hand by a cruel society. The Magic High Comission really needed to be called out for what they did.
The show missed the mark on a lot of plots.
@@jexelbur6872 Indeed. The writers focused way too much on shipping Marco and Star instead of focusing on a whole lot more important and interesting things. In the end we got a very rushed and unsatisfying ending where magic was destroyed for a really dumb reason. It's very sad.

I just didn’t get how Meteora would have lived for so long, but the whole “monster” thing makes me think monsters genuinely have the power of infinite youth, cause we see Toffee is the same physical age when Star is around as when Moon got Eclipsa’s spell.

ok this is so messed up and sad. also theory what if eclipsas arms are black for the same reason stars mom is the thought that they lost the most important thing to them there child. and another theory what if metiora started saint olgs as a way to make her self perfect so she would never be hurt for being different again and in the process changed and forgot who she is i mean she was a very small child. and then she used the school or her new castle. to change princess to be perfect subconsciously so the other princes didn't have to go through what she did. and she hates her spades because that is a trigger to bad memories.

+sookeysookey1, If they did found their hiding place or them, it doesn't make sense on not destroying it while hunting and searching for them. By the looks of it, the room was not scavenged or anything else that show signs of intrusion but left to age to fall apart. This proves that the room itself was never found by anyone else but abandoned. How she has lost both her memories and identity might be the same reason why it was abandoned in the first place.
I believe that Eclipsa had erased her memories and identity to prevent her daughter from seeking revenge by putting herself endanger. What strengthen this theory is that her appearances was the only thing that wasn't altered so that proves that no one ever knew what Meteora looked like. Only Mina Loveberry seems to be familiar by the name but this explains why she went from Meteora to Miss Heinous because her name was the only thing revealed to Mina somehow by accidentally slipped by her parents or her Monster father's family who use to live there with them or something.

Meteora was probably intended by eclipsa to rule as queen in order to bring peace between monsters and mewmans, seeing as how Eclipsa ran off to raise her and she had dolls of her mother and father.

When she was born, her father died. Her mother felt dependent on her comptroller, John Conroy, and together they made a system to turn Victoria into their pawn. Some rules included never being alone, sharing a room with her mother, holding hands with an adult down the stairs, the only children being allowed were Conroy’s daughters who told him of her, and that once she became queen, she had to give a regency to her mother and make Conroy her secretary, which almost happened.
It’d be something like that. If heinous rules until Star is 18, she could just say Star is unfit to rule due to being unprepared and immature (just like they were going to do to Victoria) and say that they need to extend the regency for a few more years. So star would never rule of her own right and Heinous would just keep all the power.

Story:
Eclipsa wanted to know how and what happened to her daughter, so she goes and asks moon they went to the history room where Everithing that happened about the queens of mewni is written in a scroll that includes their full name husbands and daughter, they went in the history room and found eclipsa's scroll it has stitches that connected a paper that says her daughter is festivia, she was shoked so they set up a trial and moom pretends to be against eclipsa, the took out the box of truths and moon says "the rules are every member of the magical high comition will ask a question and the accused must answer" they all asked a question and eclipsa says the truth to all the questions then before rombolus closses the case of her bieng evil she says "wait... I haven't asked my question yet" in a calmly manor, then moom says "well she was a former queen of mewni which means she is still part of the magical high comition", eclipsa asks "what have you done to my daughter?" Rombolus, hekaphoo and the circle thing guy(idk his name) looked very suspicious and answered with a no but then the truth box turns red and says everyone lied and they became inclosed in a red box that is slowly shrinking, rombolus uses his "unbreakable gems" to cover everyone in a protective ball, but as the box shrunk his gems were crushed and star yells in anger " this is not fair, how is it that you can punish anyone but you can lie?! How does that make you different to the villian you say eclipsa is?" Then rombolus shouted "we got rid of her!!!" And moon stepped out and says "i knew there was something missing from our familly history" the box of truth shows a projections its shows that eclipsa's ex husband (human) did not want to have a my thing to do with her half demon daughter so they replaced meteora with a peasant girl who then became the next queen, stars starts crieng "so we are not even supposed to have the throne we are no more royal than anyone!" She raises her wand in the direction of eclipsa and used magic to destroy her chains then she makes that look you see in the picture then moon, star and eclipsa storms out of the court room crying

I also knew that she had to be related to her but I wasn't expecting that she was her daughter and not her descendant.
The fact Meteora freaked out about her arm...she was conditioned to think that side was bad. She was probably set up by the magical high commision as the first 'wayward princess' to cover up for Eclipsa's first husband getting rid of her because they didn't want a monster on the throne.

To be fair Eclipsa did cheat on her husband the king, though that does not excuse him from what he did but it also doesn't really excuse her from what she did either.
Wait, didn't she run away from him instead?
Actually she was separated by force of her first love (Globgor) and forced by her mother to marry another man. You can't expect loyalty from the wife you plotted against using your political power to marry in order to become king. And even if she had an illegitimate daughter, that daughter was recognized by her mother the queen and was the rightful heir to the throne because Mweni's laws didn't forbide illegitame children from inheriting noble titles. The king basically commited treason by changing the princess for a commoner baby to inherit the throne.
Thank you for looking at both sides of the story. It was confirmed, Eclipsa’s ex husband developed romantic feelings for Eclipsa overtime, but of course she left him to runaway with Globgar, her true love. So her ex husband was left with Meteora, who didn’t want anything to do with her, since she’s a reminder of his wife and what she did, so he traded her with Festivia, the future queen of Mewni. Although, I understand he was heartbroken, but it doesn’t justify for what he did to Meteora.
It was a forced marriage Eclipsa didn't consent to.

So Marco has the Butterfly family cheek marks, the crescent moon shape is a connection to Eclipsa, and his mole (which everyone loves to draw major attention to) is in the exact same spot as ‘Meteora’s
In order for the Butterfly family to continue, since it seems to be passed down from mother to daughter, either A. Eclipsa had a daughter with her mewman husband before she left him to be with her monster husband and had Meteora, or B. The next female in line like a younger sister or cousin took the throne, simply speculating since it seems Mewni is a gender reversal and a Butterfly king would not rule alone.
So I wonder if Marco is related to Eclipsa, I mean who’s to say how many children shes’s had? Not to mention the ability to jump from dimension to dimension is possible, so maybe some gave birth to a boy(Marco) and hid him in the Earth world.

If he's not Eclipsa's son, he could be related to the butterfly's another way since the bloodline split when Eclipsa left.
Talongirl333 I don't think disney would make this happen, mostly because it would make Marco amd Star related, and I wouldn't think Disney would make them related since it appears that Marco loves Star...
Talongirl333 Keep in mind that Eclipsa was crystallized for 300 years, if she had given birth to Marco before that, then that means Marco would be hundreds of years old, just like Heinous, which I think he isn't. In addition to that, Heinous has been draining youth out of others to extend her life-I don't think Marco does this either. So I don't think he's related to them at all.
honestly i doubt he's her don, but i do think he may be connected. he has the cheek marks, and even his name Marco keeps with the Butterfly line's name theme as it means mars. he may not be her son but perhaps he's another decedent, a believe there's an official image from an upcoming episode of his monster arm coming back, what if Star's spell didn't give him his monster arm - but instead it actually broke the spell that was covering it up in the first place? I know many people are against Marco being a distant relative because then Starco could never happen, but maybe it never was. If Marco is in fact somehow part monster AND part Butterfly, then he alone would be the one person who could unify Earth, the Mewman's and the Monsters.
I love my dolls
Having been part of the Star community from the very beginning, it's so satisfying to see that one of our many theories turned out to be correct. It made me as emotional as Meteora. And I love Star's reaction. You can tell she's realizing how awful her family history truly is.
