I do love my stock C8 wheels (black with machined edge). I thinking of installing the Paragon spacers but hesitant for a few reasons. How safe is it long term and does it increase stone chips on the rockers. I do have the GM splash guards installed. Your input would be appreciated.
Hello sir and thank you for watching. All I can speak of is my experience and not as an engineer etc. I have run spacers on various vehicles for years with no issues. I do however check torque at each rotation or any time I take a wheel off as in switching to my track wheels. As far as chips, with the extended guards I have noticed none at all. I may have a little clear film installed however on the side panel lower sections just out of an abundance of caution in dealing with the amount of gravel Colorado DOT likes to lay down. Have a safe day.
@@HighestGearReviews Thank you. Have you ever had to re-torque when checking at different intervals. I think I will go ahead and get a complete set from Paragon. Thanks again for your reply.
Hello again, I finally will order Paragon 20mm spacers. Hopefully the will not come loose after long term use. I will use blue Loctite and double check torque after 100 miles. Any thoughts that can help, thanks in advance.
Which brand did you use? I see corvette mods has a similar one to paragon but is substantially less expensive. Great videos by the way! I watched them many times while I was waiting on my 2022 to be build. Thanks in advance!
Hello. Here is the link for the ones I used. As long as the materials are all the same as the way more expensive ones I figured should be good. I have about 2,000 miles on these with about 6 wheels swaps to switch to track wheels and other car mods and have had no issues at all. Hi there sir. Amazon is saying these will not fix the vette. I used the exact link you provided below. Any ideas on why it's saying this ? Thanks in advance for your reply. ( I subscribed and gave a thumbs up ! )
Hello sorry for the delay. I do have the pucks. I got the red aluminum ones from Amazon. Same as the other guys ones, just cheaper. No issues. Thank you.
Lew, what source did you use to get the wheel spacers on the C8? The only ones (with the correct size match) I can find are the $300 ones from Paragon.

Great job and video. What a difference before and after.
Thank you. Did finish up the look of the car.

Where did you get the wheel spacers?
What’s the offset for the after market wheels

It should
Great video. Do you have jack pucks underneath the C8?

Grinding is NOT required on the higher priced factory C8 forged wheels....only on the cast ones.
Thank you for watching and the information.

Nice
Thank you!
Did you have to do wheel alignment after you installed the spacers?
Hey there. I did not. I looked at tire wear on another set of wheels I used for last 5,000 miles that have same offset and noticed no abnormal wear.

At 6:08 how in the world is the front of the car up in the air? Magic?
Lol. Levitation.
Will these fit on a 2023?
Hello. Should do. I don’t think pattern has changed. Thanks for watching.
Too much gap in the video on what you did.
I think it looks ideal, and still capable on track days.
