I'm really excited about this movie. Based off the trailer, this is the most accurate depiction of heroin on screen to date (I'm an ex addict who enjoys films about heroin). It makes sense that Arielle was a real addict; the little dialogue I heard in the trailer sounded spot on what heroin addicts talk like. Not to mention the song playing over the trailer is a genre of music that's very popular in the underground drug culture in my city.
+Mr. IG88 Yes, they are exploiting people, HOWEVER it's for a good cause. Most people don't know about the heroin epidemic that is going on in America today. 90% of first time users are white suburban, middle class men and women.
I'm so glad they didn't go with the ending he describes at 29:00. That literally would have ruined the entire movie in my opinion. What makes this movie so great is the realness of it and the ending is perfect.
0:24 now 6 years later, Uncut Gems just got released and the Safdie Bros. are right now at the top of their game

She was homeless, with no paid job. They paid her by THE PAGE of the memoir she wrote, and gave her fame. They didn't steal anything from her.
