- Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to see actor Robert Pattinson and acclaimed filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie riff on their upcoming film “Good Time."
Good Time is lauded by The New York Times chief film critic Manohla Dargis as “pure cinematic pleasure.” In what many are describing as Pattinson’s best performance yet, the London-born actor plays Constantine Nikas, a.k.a. Connie, a calamitously inept bad guy who, during one terrible New York adventure, leaves ruin in his wake. Развлечения
To anyone who watches this vid I am the person who asks the last question, it was such a pleasure and a dream come true getting the chance to talk to Rob and the Safdies like that and finding out they will definitely work together again was wonderful!
So glad I had the opportunity to be at TimesTalks w/Rob & The Safdie Bros.
Jealous!! That's awesome!
Alesia Breen :cool
It makes me so happy the you mentioned to his face and in public the great actor He is. And melt my heart the fact that everyone else cheered that afirmation. Sometimes we need to hear that we are doing things right, and I am pretty sure dear Robert liked and appreciated your comments. Thank you so much for making him happy.
Pattinson can play anything - hero, antihero, villain, whatever - he's just awesome
I love hearing Rob talk about his roles. He’s SUCH an interesting guy
Everyone who works with him , loves him and wants to repeat the experience - David Cronenberg, David Michod, and now the Safdie’s. That shows his work ethic , talent, and personality !
I agree. He is a team player and always gives credits to the ones who works with him. Never greedy or selfish. I love him with all my heart. He is like a marshmallow. Sweet and soft. So desirable.
Claire Denis again too...
This movie is insane. I love that they didn't warn the public in the mall, Benny is so good as the brother. Rob is too good, just wow. Costume is so good, everything blended so well. This makes me want to watch it again.
I'm sure after tonight's first viewing..I'll be watching this movie over n over.

The level of talent on this stage is mindblowing
Just saw the movie and I was literally blown away. During COVID, alot of movies have been watched...new and old and older.
I was so involved from the first 10 min...I knew this was different.
I honestly thought Benny( Nick) was a deaf intellectually challenged guy. I didn't even recognize Robert as his accent was so pure Queens( I'm from L.I. and my mom is a Queens girl) it was hard to believe he isn't..plus an Englishman! Holy crap.
The direction was so fluent and grabs you and doesn't let you go.
I don't think I've seen a thriller that has these superb qualities..all together at once.
I'm a writer and the fluency alone of each scene leading to the next was unbelievable. I needed to see this.. it invoked my goal( lifelong) to write more..publish more and turn them into movies.
I am still jaw dropped at this entity.
I am going to try..so hard..to get in touch with these brothers...I have some true stories I'd love to see them make into a film like this.
I think it was better than Uncut Gems. I think it will always be their best. OMG.
I pray to God they will talk to me..even though now, they are the big cheese.
Ps..I adore Robert and all his character playing but..this was by far the best piece he's done.
I shamefully admit..I saw me in Connie.. omg.
I liked the interviewer she involved everyone in the conversation and i learned new things!
They absolutely should be proud of this movie! I wish I had watched when it first came out. They both did a phenomenal job on their parts. It really changed my perception of Robert as an actor.
1:04:01 all their heads turn
Rob is so much smarter than he lets on.
I hope I see more films from them. Youth and New York Dope
Jus sayin'. I worked over 30 yrs with intellectually challenged persons..children and adults.. and Benny was so spot on...I really thought he might have been challenged..not knowing anything but his brother and himself( didn't realize or recognize the names)
I did however assume Nick was HOH and intellectually challenged. Often their intonation and speech patterns are similiar.
Fantastic spot on without exaggerating or emphasizing.
I have similar experience with people with disabilities (and brother who has hearing impairment). Benny's performance was completely authentic and heartbreaking.
I'm going to have to buy this on DVD or BluRay so I can rewatch it AND all the extras!
I'm guessing the stage lighting is from a waxing moon
Did I mention the filming?? Excellent POV on each scene. And the score...again..added to this film...omg..I have literally found nothing at all I could critique as flawed. Nothing!
I do reviews and couldn't find one thing wrong or could've been done better or differently.
She asked Rob if it was uncomfortable running in all those clothes but he's done running suspended from a tiny wire for Twilight so this is a walk (or run) in the park!
It won't happen but I absolutely want to see the Good Time prequel!!!
Did you watch the movie? he went to jail for robbing a bank it’s not like he jaywalked there’s no way he’s getting out while being somewhere in robs age

I keep trying to explain..research is vital.. in any writing.. especially in movies.
I've seen Rob talk about that movie still that inspired him before. I wish I knew what still he is talking about.
A picture still of their movie Heaven knows what inspired him to reach out to them
