@@alanprioroutdoors There is an ultra running event each October which runs that route . It was a recon for this years event . It took me five and a half hours . Would hope to I,prove on that in the race as long as the mud dries up 😊 Going to have a spy of your other videos now . Cheers
Turns out NCN22 is shaped like a letter n and includes the downs link. So effectively Havant to Farnham, across to Guildford and then down to Shoreham by sea
Hi Mark, I'd say probably about 60% off road on loose gravel tracks and about 40% on quiet roads / shared use cycle paths. Petersfield is a nightmare though - had about 6 close passes going through there.
@@markh9194 If you follow the link in the description to the Shipwrights Way I believe they've designed it so that the majority of the route is off road ;)
@@alanprioroutdoors Regarding your close passes, as you are recording your rides do you report them? This is something I've started to do as I'm sick of dangerous passes by vehicles.
@@stevedouglas3975 On this particular occasion the camera was mounted on my handlebars so the car had passed me by the time the camera picked it up so I couldn't really report it. Ideally I need to mount a rear view camera or chest mount the camera
Nice video . I ran this route July 2022 with my wife riding along with me on a mountain bike . Really enjoyed the route .
I found it hard cycling on a hybrid let alone running. Thanks for watching :)

Super, what ratio of off vs on road(or paved) would you say this is? I quite fancy doing a coast ride myself.

@@alanprioroutdoors thank you, will take a look at strava and see if I can tweak it to more "off". Thanks for sharing 👍
