30 Minute Legs & Glutes HIIT Workout | CRUSH - Day 1

  • It's DAY 1 of CRUSH! Don't forget to subscribe to the channel to crush this challenge with me!
    Today is a legs and glutes HIIT workout so be ready to turn up the intensity! This workout consists of 11 lower body exercises for 30 seconds at a time and we will complete 3 rounds of 30 seconds per exercise before moving on to the next exercise.
    I used anywhere from my 10 pound dumbbells up to my 30 pound dumbbells and certain exercises I only used my glute resistance bands. I also used my bench so grab weights that work for you, your glute bands, and your bench if you have one so we can crush it together!
    The exercises:
    1. Goblet Squats
    2. Low Squat pulse
    3. Band Squat Hop Outs
    4. RDL
    5. Alternating RDL
    6. Sumo RDL to Squat
    7. Bench Left Leg squat to forward Lunge
    8. Bench right Leg Squat to forward Lunge
    9. Squat to Kickback
    10. Glute Bridge
    11. Glute Bridge Pulse

      I crushed this workout after I came home from work! I love seeing the concrete LED set and I’m looking forward to seeing coordinated lighting with the workouts.     GREAT START WORKOUT for the CRUSH PROGRAM!!! Finished my First year of Consistent Workouts with Sydney! At times I didn't feel like it But Glory to Christ (He is my Strength💪🏾)I showed up and gave it my best whatever that Best looked like!!

      Haha! I knew it will be a boy. In my country when the pregnancy belly is small we think (and for sure we know) baby will be a boy. If baby belly is big, then baby will be a girl 👧.
      I guess we girls tend to just spread out in our moms belly 😂

    Sydney's Daily Wisdom (33:59): "In showing up you're always showing yourself that you believe you're worth it. You believe you're worth the outcome of feeling proud of yourself right now." This is one of the reasons I show up on my mat consistently. It's starting the day in an area I can control, where I show myself that I am worth it - for myself, and for how I show up for others.

    A few months back I got really discouraged and I fell off the wagon - today is my first day back and my legs and glutes are on fire but I crushed it and I feel so good about it. Great way to start the month!!

    I'm finally back with Sydney and my sister exercising with me! Due to the devastating typhoon that hit us last Dec 16, we had no internet connection and elecrtricity for weeks. I only downloaded 30 mins exercise videos of hers and exercised with glee. Now, the internet connection has been restored in our area and finally I can exercise with Sydney daily now!
    I'm so happy! I always took everything for granted and the typhoon brought me back to my roots.

    Day 1 CRUSHED! I ❤️Sydney’s adorable 🤰! I wish I had been doing these workouts when pregnant. I started working out with Sydney in June 2020. I have seen an amazing change not only in my physique, but in my mental health and ability to see my way through challenges and adversity. I feel not just physically capable of keeping up with my 5yo (I’m 44yo) but actually energetic (most of the time, ha).     Honestly, I started this one with a negative mindset (“I can’t do this,” “Maybe I should skip this one”) but I turned it around like Sydney suggested and thought of it as a challenge that would make me stronger, and I crushed it! 💪🏻 So grateful for that advice from Sydney - continually practicing implementing that growth-based self-talk in many areas of my life.     CRUSHED IT💪🏽💪🏽 I’ve been with Sydney for 3 years and last month I’ve been self- sabotaging for the last week and a half. And I’m proud to say I didn’t do it for this one, I used heavier dumbbells and sweated ALOT even when I was on my period!!! THANKS SYDNEY!!

    Last month I did all my workouts after work late in the afternoon. After working all day I had no motivation to do anything but relax when I got home. Somehow I found the motivation to still do the workouts even though I was mentally exhausted. These last 2 weeks I decided to change it up and wake up before work to do the workouts. LET ME TELL YOU that was the best decision I ever made. I start my day at 5 with these workouts and now I am able to go home and mentally unwound knowing I crushed my workout before I started my workday. I know it may be a challenge to get that workout in before work but its so worth it in the long run. Today's workout pushed me and Sydney’s Daily Wisdom makes me come back each and everyday.

    Not going to lie, last month was a STRUGGLE for me to actually get up and exercise, on average I only did M-T-W, and only completed a full week of all exercises. Then yesterday I was seeing spots and struggling to continue but pushed through. Needless to say, today I was just NOT feeling it but am so happy that I didn't let my feelings dictate what I needed to accomplish.     Loved doing the glute bridges at the end, sometimes I have a hard time feeling the burn but not after pushing heavy weights for the first 25 minutes!

    I am crushing on the Crush program!!!! That was a jam packed legs and glutes workout. Loved the single leg squat/forward lunge challenge as it was tough and I was wobbly. I hope we work on that again. Happy February!

    Been snowshoeing and cross country skiing all week so this one hurt! Added on an old 15 minute body weight one to make 45 minutes for the 75 Hard challenge. Great start to the month!

    I am so happy to see the LED stage. This was my first stage when I started with Sydney. It brings back so many nostalgic memories. I can't believe it's been a year since I started with Sydney. Best decision I ever made. If you haven't joined and subscribed, do it! You will not regret it.

      August faves: I am not mad at all that Sydney forgot the third set for the jump squats. My legs were on fire! I tweaked my ankle this week so there were some moves I had to modify but I pushed hard no matter what and I feel really good about today.

    Day 1 crushed, and I always get my calendar on day 1 and I can plan for my week. Loved this workout Sydney I could go all the way up in my weights which was challenging and rewarding. Love that you have gone back to this set as I love the grey and the lights.🥰👍💪❤️

    Always amazing. I never leave saying, "I shouldn't have done that". I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant and have done Sydney's workouts for years. Took a bit of a break for my first trimester but I'm back baby!

    Crying because I’m so happy I got my workout in today I haven’t had much energy since recovering from Covid and barely now getting my energy back and so thankful that I was able to get my first workout of February done today I’m so so thankful for this woman and for all her encouragement I’m literally in tears because it feels so good after every workout just the strength and the ability to be able to push through with all her encouragement and motivation I pray everyone has a beautiful blessed day🙏🏼❤️

    I did this in a hotel room at 6 am with my 20 pound 10-month-old as my weight and a resistance band. LOL. You've got so much to look forward to. I remember when I was newly pregnant doing your workouts.

    What a great starter! I'm proud of myself for pushing into 25lbs for the first time. I got a set of adjustable weights for xmas and today was the first time I used a new weight. It's all about the small accomplishments 😁😁
