I've created a community group with chat groups A, B & C. Whenever chat group A people text each other within their own chat, it pings a message notification on the community group instead of their own chat group A. This can be confusing as it gives the impression that the message was sent to the community group by admin. And implication is, all the ppl may be concerned if their messaging activities are also seen by others. And then also when there’s a new message on a group, you open the community first and then the group chat. Can't the individual chat groups' text stay out of the community radar and appears only in their own chat groups?
Is there a way to prevent participants or members of the community to reply or interact to the Announcements?

Can a member directly message other members, by clicking on their messages and messaging them, they automatically get their phone number? Even though, the contact list is hidden in the group in a community?
As per my knowledge, WhatsApp does not allow members of a group or community to directly access other members' phone numbers simply by clicking on their messages. WhatsApp is designed to prioritize privacy and data protection. If contact numbers are hidden within the group or community, members should not be able to retrieve them through the app's interface.

How can I hide the contacts information of other people I am adding in a community
Because I’ll like to create a community but I will not want to share my contacts to others

Actually, my question is that if i already have no groups created, but i want to create a community by adding persons/contacts 1/1 directly into a new community like we add people in a broadcast rather than adding whatsapp groups, would it be possible, or do we have the permission/facility to do so?

can whatsapp community admins hide their phone numbers from the members. I don't want my phone number to be available to thousands of people and whatsapp would not let me create a separate account with Google Voice

Nop, and to be on a safe side, you can give admin rights to one or two more people who can later on add you if you’re removed or lose access for some reason.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to hide the members of a WhatsApp group community. In a group, all members can see who else is part of the group.
However, you can restrict who can add you to a group. Here's how:
Open WhatsApp and go to "Settings".
Tap on "Account" and then select "Privacy".
Look for the "Groups" option and tap on it.
Here you can choose who can add you to a group: "Everyone", "My Contacts", or "My Contacts Except...".
Selecting "My Contacts Except..." will allow you to specify contacts who cannot add you to a group without your permission. When someone who is not on your "exception" list tries to add you to a group, they will be prompted to send you an invitation that you can accept or decline.
Keep in mind that this setting only applies to groups that you have not already joined. Once you're in a group, all members will be visible to you and vice versa.
