@@Leonitys_ I used to play it off as jon just happened to forget the lyrics or mess up the scream at the time (since its live with no retakes) but after hearing the lyrics again, I think he may have taken an artists touch to just redo that. Then again, jon did scream about smoking weed out of a pussy filled with money, and he liked it. But i wont act like i know him
One thing to note is that, although it would have been mixed and post-processed at the end, the inputs would have been done as it was a live recording. Therefore you don't have Tillian doing 6 tracks for backing and harmonizing, instead it all comes from him with a bit of Andrew Wells backing up. Again with Mess, he can't just record two separate parts and then go full belt on both. I wouldn't say it sounds terrible... that's going way over the top... however, I do agree that they've probably overproduced it more than was necessary considering it's supposed to be a live album. Also worth noting that for the Kurt albums, only Will and Matt remain, with Jon doing screams instead of Will now. Jon and Tillian have much cleaner vocals than Will and Kurt did, which could also impact the sound.
Its always a treat to hear the Mess-Swan scream combo. So good 🔥
Dont know if you watched the live stream but i was disappointed that will didnt scream at all
I didn’t know Will screamed! Just watched a video from 8 years ago after seeing your comment - wow!
@@BODSTREAM yeah he did all the screams on happiness!
@@SamJanuary17 fair play
Swan Mess
When tilian and Kurt's voice meld together I begin to believe it's one totally different human not two voices stacked
BLEG BLEG BLEG BLEG BLEG

Tillian is also down with browntown.
Also, Jon @ 1:15 is priceless.

Yesssssss
THATS WHAT EVERYBODYS DOING
FUCKING SIIIIIIIICK
Original is better
Fake innocence versus the twilight basically.
Am I the only one that thinks the production on the second session sounds terrible? It's so flat and sterile...
That’s the point, it’s supposed to be completely raw, and everyone loves it
Yea you're the only one
I disagree
@@JorgeOrtiz-yd7yc it’s not raw at all though. It’s very heavily and terribly post-processed.
