This quote hitted me hard.
I just don’t want to be glued to “social media” I got rid of instagram and never had TikTok. Given that everyone seems to have a life online it’s actually a prime time to do the opposite.
It all seems so exhausting to me, it’s discouraging.
Props to those that are up for it all, but as for me, I pray I find a useful way to use social that doesn’t feel like I have to be “glued” to it like you said.
I actually wasn't big on reading as a kid but I'm really enjoying moving to Pinterest and reading people's blogs. I like watching movies and TV, but watching what can be random videos especially short ones seems exhausting. I'm definitely leaning towards more long form video these days.

Starting will always be the hardest part, but there is no going around it. Just make sure to check in with yourself every once in a while, specially when success starts knocking at your door (Im sure it will) and align your creations with what you feel deep in your soul is what you WANT to do. That will save you from burn out down the line.

No matter what are the changes, you always need to give your viewers the content they want to see. You can't become complacent at any moment. At the end of the day, toughest part is definitely starting your channel and growing it up to the point you become successful (and honestly if I haven't used a lot of Famester, I would have quit a long time ago. It was a proper game-changer for me, and once you become successful it is a great tool to control algorithm).

The only problem with TikTok photos is that I legit have no interest in seeing photos of the people I follow on TikTok. The people I would want to see I already follow on Instagram (which are generally the people I follow on YT). Why does everyone want to be everyone else? (I am looking at you Tech Companies).
If TTP would have you following the same people, I would absolutely NOT download the app. Threads made sense because there was a line through that connected the content. Photos on TT always screw with me because I think the app is frozen and don't realize I need to scroll to see the next photo. Am I the only one?
That's how I feel. I wish everyone would just stay in their lane 😭

No, I really don’t think so. I think young people use TikTok as a search engine mostly because they know usually they can type in what they are looking for and find it explained in video form in a concise and to the point format. Honestly, I think they’re working smarter, not harder and I’m here for it!

Hot take: instagram carousels are absolutely useless. I do not save or share them and i do not see people saving or sharing them. Plus the only times i see them is if im visiting a profile im interested in. They not appear in feed at all
