    Great video; Except, one of the main things taught is that you actually should Not use this with a peacemaker as it can interfere, or pregnancy.. In fact it shouldn’t even be used with braces but that’s obviously not life threatening. But a pace maker is definitely a No- Go…

    • @arcskincare
      @arcskincare  9 месяцев назад +3

      Good questions. Gauze is ok. We like to use a gel or oil so your skin is able to absorb the topical nutrients. For cleaning, alcohol is applied to a cotton pad and then wiped over the wand while the power is completely off and/or unplugged. Remove the electrode from the handle and wipe-down both parts and allow them to dry. In my expereince, I've never heard of or expereinced a wand catching fire.

    • @arcskincare
      @arcskincare  2 года назад +11

      Great question! Both a serum or gauze help the glass wand glide across the skin's surface. Without them, it's not a smooth application. Gauze is 'neutral', as in, it allows the HF to work on its own. With a serum, you would need to choose something with a silicone, oil, lotion base, or hyaluronic acid to help the glass wand glide -- not all serums will work this way. Additionally, a serum/gel can provide the skin with some additional benefits: antioxidant, plumping, brightening.

      I would consider HF to be a preventative -- stopping the scar before it starts and preventing recurring breakouts that lead to scars. To treat scars, a regimen with vitamin c, retinol, and glycolic acid is beneficial. For dark scars, adding a brightening serum with kojic acid as a spot treatment helps. For treatment, microneedle is amazing for acne scars.

      Great question! Yes, hyaluronic acid is safe to use. If you're referencing alcohol in skincare, it depends on the type of alcohol and the percentage. Generally, cosmetic preparations use alcohols to improve penetration or give moisturising properties, and are prepared with other complimentary ingredients. Overall, a product formulated to stay and penetrate into the skin will have a negligible amount of alcohol--especially if you're considering the combistible attribute of alcohol. There's just not enough there for a reaction.

      @arcskincare  2 года назад +2

      That's a good question. The tech itself (neon, argon, xenon) converts some oxygen to ozone around the electrode and creates heat/warmth in the skin. Together, these increase blood circulation and oxygen delivery, and helps decrease bacterial or fungal infections, and promotes the skin's natural wound healing response (i.e. rejuvenation). You should wash your face before using high frequency. If you use your HF at night, you can still wash your face in the morning. Or vise versa. There's no need to wait 22 hours.

    • @sb.yourstruly
      @sb.yourstruly Год назад

      You definitely do not have to wait 22 hours. If you’re using serums after you want them to absorb into the skin but there’s no reason that you can’t wash your face after

    • @arcskincare

      It's our hyaluronic acid serum, Rest-N-Restore > arcskincare.com/collections/collection-serums/products/rest-n-restore
      The HA helps the device glide over the skin and the ingredients in Rest-N-Restore hydrate and plump the skin.

      You can use high frequency with other tech for a tightening facial. Try a light lactic peel protocol. High frequency for several minutes. Follow with micro current or ultrasonic.

    How many different electrodes be used during one facial? And how long each time?

    • @arcskincare
      @arcskincare  3 года назад +2

      Good question. We generally just use one electrode for 2-5 minutes. Each electrode works a little differently; our unit has 4 different electrodes. One for scalp, one for body, one for face, and one smaller for breakouts or eye area.

    Sadly i dont have the blue tip, will the red one work on acne?

    • @arcskincare
      @arcskincare  3 года назад +2

      The gasses that give the wand color help the electrical current move to the skin, where it creates a natural thermal warming and oxygen. The red should work fine to help improve acne.

      It’ll work but they have definitely have different purposes; and just a fun fact, it’s actually purple VS orange. I’m not sure why she taught it this way lol. A new BLUE one did recently come out which is a combo of both! It’s Amazing. I highly suggest it to get both done all in one! But, I’m not sure if this RUclipsr is selling a specific brand or just helping HF users in general! @@sb.yourstruly as an esthetician, this is kinda inappropriate for you to be going up behind her all the time. I've seen you post after her whenever she's answering people. That's not okay. You're publicly undermining her. You can't assume what she's saying is wrong. Let her teach them. Your can do that on your channel if you feel you can help others too. It helps the wand glide smoothly over the skin's surface. Otherwise, it does not move well.

    • @arcskincare
      @arcskincare  2 года назад +2

      @@vanessafuller7554 Great question! Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in our skin and bodies. It's an acid, but not an exfoliating acid, like glycolic or lactic. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant and holds water in your skin, hydrating it, making it plumper, fuller and more comfortable. It's a component of gentle hydrating serums and some moisturizers.
