I saw Exodus in a tiny club in Oslo around this time. Small venue, small stage and no fence or anything between the band and the crowd. It was real close and personal. And Gary made those faces all the time, it was kinda...unnerving 😂
Exodus just knows how to start a live show, a classic, heavy and fast hell of a song (95% of their songs but bonded by blood is the fastest in my opinion)
the thing i love about Exodus us that thye can play their most popular song first and its not like it always comes at the end like for example Kiss always does an encore and nobody gets excited because EVERYBODY knows it's rock n roll all night

As a fan of the band since Pleasures of the Flesh I have to say that kicking Dukes out was a massive mistake. Zetro is weak in comparison to Dukes and this is coming from a classic era Zetro guy. Dukes took the band and sound to another level. 'Blood In, Blood Out' is a massive step back from 'Exhibit B'. Holt clearly is devoting to much headspace to Slayer and Exodus had suffered as a result. Pity as Exodus on top form a la 'Exhibit B' simply wipes the floor with anything Slayer have put out in 20 years. For me, 'Exhibit B' is unquestionably the heaviest thrash album since Exhorders 'The Law'. High praise indeed🤘

Robert-Jan Bremer I agree. Dukes took the band up a fair few notches. To be fair to Zetro, he's all over the new the new record like a cheap suit. It's the writing for me that lets it down. Going for the thrashier, rather than heavier, more progressive angle to me was a step backwards. There are, however some real bomblasts on there. Collateral Damage being one of them 🤘

He has the: "Don't give a fuck how i sound" style that Baloff had, he sounds a TON better live than Zetro. Zetro is just the guy after Baloff for me. Atleast Zetro was making some badass albums with Exodus back in the day. Tempo of the Damned is still one of my favorites.
Dukes does a great job. He fits into Exodus better than zetro but no one sings Exodus like the late great Paul Baloff he was a great front man that could turn any show into a party his Ruthie's inn shows are legendary. Rip Baloff
I've seen Exodus with both Zetro and Dukes and, preferences asides when it comes to their voices, it is undeniable that Dukes is a much more intense frontman, which imho is what exodus requires.
I first heard this album (on cassette of course) the summer of 85 or 86. There was such a diverse selection of music then. In senior high, it was Depeche Mode, to Hellhammer…and everything in between

I'm so old that I can't remember if I ever saw this band live. I remember seeing many of the bands to come out that Bay Area thrash scene but can't recall seeing Exodus. I do remember all the lyrics to this song, so I guess my memory isn't totally shot.

I'm 13 years old, and only into exodus a little less than a year ago. when i saw exodus play live, they played this song (obviously). I was just goign totally nuts in a back corner, and i jumped on the chairs singing along. everyone looked at me like i was an idiot, because they don't know how to act at a metal concert. kids can be metal to.

I'm so old that I can't remember if I ever saw this band live. I remember seeing many of the bands to come out that Bay Area thrash scene but can't recall seeing Exodus. I do remember all the lyrics to this song, so I guess my memory isn't totally shot.

I'm 13 years old, and only into exodus a little less than a year ago. when i saw exodus play live, they played this song (obviously). I was just goign totally nuts in a back corner, and i jumped on the chairs singing along. everyone looked at me like i was an idiot, because they don't know how to act at a metal concert. kids can be metal to.
