Zetro isn't shit compared to Dukes imo. I'm 51 and started listening to Exodus when a older friend i thought was cool told me to buy the cassette when I was 11. I will say I saw exodus for 1st time in small place in Denver in 2019 and Zetro was so amazing with the crowd.
I don't get the hate against Rob Dukes. He is such a powerful frontman. He owns a stage and has an absolutely brutal voice. He also seems like a cool down-to-earth guy. I miss him, now that Zetro is back. I have nothing against Zetro, but the new songs are lacking some of the energy and brutality that Rob has. But he has his own band now, so good for him.
Dukes-era Exodus was the absolute peak. Unmatched ferocity, aggression, brutal guitar tone, fantastic mixing, everything was just firing on all cylinders. Sucks that he's gone now, Zetro Exodus doesn't really do it for me.

Dukes' clean singing is the only clean singing I like in metal. Raw and vicious just like his growls and screaming. and it fits this song's chorus perfectly.

Lee is great as well. I think Tom is actually underrated as a drummer. Gary actually gets his fair props since Slayer snatched him up- and he is the best player Slayer ever had!
I find it incredibly amusing that metal can hurl insults at Christianity all day long, but as soon as a band targets another religion (one that is causing a TON of suffering right now, btw) people get all up in arms and offended. Grow up people.

The band is hot but the only time the sound engineering answered the call to showcase the best of this band was at Wacken, period. SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE FULL CONCERT ONLINE and taken everything else off because it is probably the best advertisement for the band ever! Could have increased records sales tremendously. The live mixes on everything else besides Wacken is poor engineering and doesn't do the band the justice it deserves...too bad.

Neither Zetro nor Baloff could channel the anger here. Huge fan since the 80's, never understood the hate for Dukes. Guy freaking killed it. Andy Sneap's production kind of sterilized the 3 albums but they sound killer when cranked up on a good system. Needed a little more Bay Area Grease though.

I saw Exodus perform at a small club in Minneapolis around this time during the annual “zombie pub crawl”, everyone dresses like Zombies. Was pretty fun when you’re young, well, it was but eventually the controlled it to a small area of Minneapolis and ruined it. ANYWAYS, they played for like 50 of us and we went mental! It was awesome!!! Not often you get that experience with a legendary band. The stage was practically on the floor!
