OMG!!! So I am a new teacher, technically paraprofessional straight out of high school. Today was my second day of teaching elementary school music and I tried this with my 3rd graders who were SO HARD TO MANAGE yesterday. They LOVED IT!! I ended up using some songs that they knew and had them come up with their own beats. Please post more games like this!! I had them use markers instead of sticks due to how poor my school is. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!
Thanks, Mary! Hmm... I think this should work with any grade K-5... maybe just do less or more and alter the tempo depending on what they seem to be able to handle!
Love the places idea!! I need some ideas for music class during summer camp and this will be great for mentioning where kids have visited this summer.

I love this so much. I wish it was longer. I don’t want to lead this. I want about 8 minutes of activity.
This is a fantastic game! Thank you for making this! I like your Chanel!
This is a great video! I was a long term music sub and I used several of your videos
Love this!! Any chance you'd share what key you're in or the chords you used so I can play on Guitar for my students? Thanks!
why do you give me Jim Halpert vibes but an elementary music teacher version? i mean that in the best way
I dunno! (gives questioning shrug)
Would this work with 5th grade? or better for younger?
Great song. Fyi..."Lickety" split :)

Great video, Rob! What grade did you have in mind for this?

Using this in my Pre-K class, simplified, but they'll love it.
