@@gordonvincent731 Something tells me you haven't worked on the railroad. Or is the engineer blowing the horn, waving from the window, and locomotives all at the same time. This is a epic *crew* not just the engineer.
@@salinerailfan3907 I was a locomotive engineer for 36 years. November 1974, retired Jan. 2011. Yes, I blew the horn, waved at people at trackside while operating the train in perfect safety!! @@gordonvincent731 He never said they were all in control. He said it was a cool crew as the engineer was blowing the horn, the conductor was on the front of the engine, and the brakeman or conductor in training was waving from the side. It was a crew effort, not just the engineer
Nice!!! As a truck driver, i love when a kids signals for me to blown the horn and battling trains. Something about hearing a air horn brings me joy!! Great catch!!
Thanks for the recording...great recording. Bad news...UP is sidelining their SD70ACeT4 locomotives according to my latest edition of Railfan and Railroad. It looks like a promising effort from EMD.
Thank you! It is a pity that they are being left aside, to my taste they look more imposing than other machines, fortunately I managed to see 3 of these, greetings!
Fantastic shot there Man especially seeing the freight train picking up acceleration possibly being held up at the red signal light and that's a great horn ever
That's right, meters later stopped by the signal in red, there we took the opportunity to go to take photos and videos that I will then upload here and on my facebook page, greetings!
Awesome catch and crew, I'd love to see some of your Mexican power up here in the states, its so beautiful with the red and green. Id be cool if yall got some of those engines in your paint scheme.

@@gordonvincent731 Badass--my ass. I'm a retired engineer too and you try to avoid blowing the conductors ears off. and--what kind of horn signal is that? I never heard it before..
I think you might have misunderstood what I was trying to get across. I get tired of people using that phrase "engine crew" You would think everybody had their hands on the throttle, air brake handles and the horn! They don't get the fact it's the engineer only. When I was running, I didn't do "horn shows"
For you all, who i assume aren't from Mexico, that tune the engineer played doesn't have a name, but it's an extremely popular sequence used all over Mexico. It's played in cars, in bikes, ships, and everything that has a horn. I personally use it with my car to tell my family to open the garage door. Also, the shave and haircut it's banned, since here, it means "f*ck you". You will only hear it in trains when cars decide to go through a crossing, when the train is coming. And in cars when the drivers get angry lol.
You know people around there were thinking “What the hell is going on???” 😂
