I want to work fro them when I’m older do you know if they will still have Aces in 20 or 30 years or possibility 10? And what’s it like to work for them
@@nancyledesma7465 honestly it's a good experience but it's the people that run it that'll mess that up. My biggest piece of advice...always know your rules..they hate that.
Just wondering do you still work for them because this comment is 8 years old and do you still see UP Aces and if you do, do you operate them or what’s the majority of types of locos there are there more GEVOS or Aces or sd70 (I saw some sd70 s I think they were sd70s) what loco are there more of or what engines do you see more
@@nancyledesma7465 yes i do, i was supposed to be up for engine school this year but the pandemic messed that up until late 2021. But UP still use the sd 70s. They use them for the heritage units a lot. Last year we go quite a few new ones. I work in the Chicago Service Unit, formerly Chicago and Northwestern (CNW).
@JgordonAmtrak1 ah sweet! yeah this video is awesome too. i liked the KCS lash-ups, i dont see that hardly ever. cant remember the engine number, but i saw a NS Dash-9 with a K5LLA, so weird aint it?
Sir-That EMD SD70 ACe (#9284) and the Norfolk and Southern unit went right by my window (I live by the tracks and watch and record all the time there) went right past me as I was watching this video!!!
kcs daily here! Love it & may be one ive seen, I have caught 3 of them, I know 9655 is one, the best! then either 9672 or 9762, and forgot the other one
Now I see the diffence. the light was on the top of the SD70-Ace on the UP and so was SD70M-2. But for BNSF and KCS, the front light was on the nose of SD70Ace only
The difference really is that the left side of the body on the bottom next to the cab of Sd70m-2 and Ace where they climbed or something designed differently
Well i talk in all of my vids, Thats just how I do, i dont mind it, some people dont, it doesnt bother me, but i dont talk through the whole vid, but thanks.
I like the BNSF horn the best. Now I'll give you a little hint: It's usually better to NOT talk when doing the recording. Save the narration for when you do the editing. Keep up the good work, though.
@jgordon yeah, i barely got it here in chicago. i was one of last to be hired until 2014. the BRC is my favorite yard to go to.
this is why i love working for the railroad union pacific for life.

Hell yea, those are the new tuned k5lla horns, love them saw 1982 in Jan, Wana see it again, Heard 83's horn its a beast & heard 95s on a vid to.
Tough to decide they all sound awesome to me
Sir-That EMD SD70 ACe (#9284) and the Norfolk and Southern unit went right by my window (I live by the tracks and watch and record all the time there) went right past me as I was watching this video!!!
OMG! That BNSF is awesome! What is it called when it goes the opposite way?
@JgordonAmtrak1 i know 9762 horn sounds like a conrail chime (not sure what that chime is called) but yeah hope i can get a video of it soon
Am I allowed to publish an Sound Update for an SD70 Addon for the Train Simulator 2014 with Sounds from your Video? DAMN I love these Horns!
yep i dont care i used to do it all the time on msts i miss it
Thanks, but I'm leaving a link to your video and put your name in the credits.
Damn...wish my 335 sounded like that. Epic!
Probably one of the loudest horns out there.
I believe the BNSF ACe at 1:09 is the best of all of them. I love that 2 piece 1L bell gives it a hint on a K5HL
It’s actually a NF 1PC K5lla!
Hands down my favorite was the BNSF horn!! Oh my god the sounded awesome!!
But what kind of bell is that?
Thanks man, yep the bnsf k5lla its tuned diff and can be heard very good, thanks
lol I need to make a new one soon! Ive caught so many since this one
BTW. They were using lots of SD70s!

Wooooow!Beautifull video.Mega Horn!
Nice video! Like that BNSF 70ace! What train was he on?
That's a badass NS SD70 Spartan

Thanks, check out part 2! even better
Yep they are!
lol yea it did sound great, i also like bsnf horn it was really packing, but that up was good I like them to.
I think I am going to have to go with the NS 7680 in this video! Loved that one! All of them are still beast though!
thanks, check out part 2, even better
Well i talk in all of my vids, Thats just how I do, i dont mind it, some people dont, it doesnt bother me, but i dont talk through the whole vid, but thanks.
Man this vid is nice bro! But I think I gotta go with the KCS ACe on this one.
Lol it was a beast bro, now im thinkin 1982 and that UP from few days ago is the best, and those kcs Belles!
Thanks yeea I heard a csx ace before it sounded kinda ok but high pitced and like a funny tuned
Ha I caught amazing K5lla'a on camera
you should hear that k5lar23 i got the other day on a kcs sd70mac, it was loud as hell.
Ooooooh HELL yeah!
Thanks bro, yea its hard NS have good ones, but the up bnsf and kcs was good as hell. Hard to choose, ill have to do top 3.
Me too! I need to make a new one
Sweet Stuff....
Thanks Gene, yep they do especially the first come in lol
Yep it did!
Union Pacific All The Way!
Dam really! Awesome
Thanks man!
What was that @ +1:24 on BNSF 9284, it almost hints of am NP3.
It was loud! i like it
Great job!!!
Some of those are K5LLs......1L, 1, 2, 3 ,4
Yes beast!
At 3:01, You're was saying waht a load of and the train honks as a bleep lol or no
Maybe he was about to cuss
What's that tapping sounds when the engines goes by?
That UP train had an awesome horn
BNSF SD70ACE's have to be the best! Just saying, they have graat! They all sound awesome, BNSF is my favorite!
I definitely love the BNSF ones. Great video!

up horn, epic
the bnsf was a shocker! UP was kicking though!
@JgordonAmtrak1 here's a clip of what it will sound like
@JgordonAmtrak1 fixing to mount a K5LLA on my truck, its loud as shit!!
KCS at 2:46 awesome!!!!!!!!
I still say that first KCS kicked all their asses haha. It had that 3rd Gen K5LA on it.
got to say the first NS train or the BNSF train. nice vid though!!!!
I like UP, ill apply if they wasnt so far away but then again ill re locate, memphis is the closes and arkanasas, then Louisiana, so not too far.
In terms of loudness, the UP wins it by a long shot! But for sweetness I say the NS @1:46 and the BNSF ones are tied!
Yea the up is nice, its in the top 3 lol
It's pretty agreeable the first one sounded a bit fouled.
My favorite was the NS 339 KCS SD70 ACE K5LLA.
Train horn rocks
man, you need ear plugs to be around those things lol
I have headphones and ear plugs!
im stuck between the NS and BNSF
I know UP 1995 has a bad-ass one. And UP 1982 as well
I personally liked the BNSF
It was loud and nice! Idk
NS 2680
lmaoo
ns 339
Quite zone sucks Train horn rocks and rules
lmao
@JgordonAmtrak1 i'll stick with NS
Sorry fellas.... Nathan P3 is best! :P
BNSF 9284
