Brosnahan's comments/complaints about the corset damages she suffered tells me that her corset was never made to fit her body. It must have been too small to begin with and probably bought pre-made instead of the costume team making it.

It was a Girdle,not a Corset. The show was set in the 1950’s, not the 1850’s.🙄
