I'm quite puzzled about "left Block B, debuting with some soft shit" which him being involved in Winner. Do we have to take it positively or negatively? does it imply he doesn't want to debut as winner?
Some interpretation of MiNO's punchlines: @03:18 fucked up --> It sounds "ppuduh" in Korean meaning "knocked down" --> He came out of the BlockB and debuted in a ballad group (B.O.M) then knocked down and fucked up as it was disbanded fuck’em ->It also sounds “ppukkum” (bubbling sound of goldfish) in Korean. -> He forgets like a goldfish, ppukkum (sounding the act of forgetting by the goldfish). @03:22 from the bottom I “turnt up” -> It sounds “turruh” in Korean meaning “brushed” (the dust) on the floor (literal) -> jumped up from the bottom = become successful(figurative) That is why @03:26”Monster” in English but it sounds like monjidul (dust) in Korean -> he is like hidden by the dust behind a concept (of idol) The next line “It’s good to get it off from my chest” -> the direct translation is “it was stale and dusty so it is good to get it off” -> The whole paragraph talks about the dust and that bias/misconception at the same time. @03:42 If you ask “YEOL” (ten10 / heat) to me who has a lot of “YIL” ( one1 / work), I’ll get it done perfectly, so take “YEOL(10 / heat). Here “take the heat” also means “get angry” -> as for the haters who try to cut him down by complaining (can’t he do this and that? so he is not good enough .. sort of talk), he describes them as those who ask for “YEOL” or the heat (who’s trying to make him angry) and ten10 (fig. meaning = a lot ), but he got everything done perfectly and cleared their complaints, so now it is their turn to get angry as he throws “YEOL (10, heat) back to them.
Art2Travel hi i am korean and mino's fan.. Actually it isn't.. "fucked up" means" fucked up" and "turn up" means turn up.... Nothing more... I'm sorry but it' wrong.

Not even being bias but Bobby's diss totally was my favorite. I loved his metaphors and thought he was creative while also speaking truth. Love B! He's young so everyone's telling him don't get a big head because there are rappers who have been around longer but what does time have to do with talent? okay first of all, BOBBY's lyrics are pure diss to those butthurt haters who kept on hating on him because he's “disrespectful to seniors” and “big headed”. i love the way he responded to their stupid assess and also MINO, our huge boy. BABY, YOU REALLY DID IT IN '18!!!! "That's no-no" Cutest line ever omg. I know this vid isnt exactly supposed to be cute..but I think its cute in a way. I'm really starting to get into all this Korean rap...Dok2, Jay Park, Zico, Park Kyung, Mino, G Dragon, Rap Monster, Tablo, all these dudes, and CL too! I'm even starting to rap to myself as I do m daily activities, and I'm just an average middle class white girl omg I'm pretty sure if I started rapping, everyone would boo me just cuz I'm white and girly haha Seriously though, five years ago, I would have never guessed I'd be into Korean rap and hip hop, writing english versions to Korean pop music, and speaking Mandarin Chinese. I'm so glad I found myself~
Oh watch smtm if you havn't, it will give you good exposure to rappers. MFBTY is really good, Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae are married so they make a awesome rapping couple. Jolly V is a really good underground female rapper and so is Choi sam. Check out buckwilds and royal class, they are both underground large rap groups basically. Taewoon of of royal class (Mino ans sims of MIB is also apart of that rap group)is in a group called speed and he is Zico's bro (you may already know) OOO also MIB, they studied under Tiger JK so of course they are a amazing group. Oh and yongukk, gotta throw him in there.
xXMFLFXx Thanks so much!!!!! I'll certianly look them up! And a married rapping couple??!? Thats pretty sick. lol And do you mean he's Zico's blood brother or just friend?
Micah Mauderer Taewoon from speed and royal class is his legit older brother. If you look them up they did a interview together. It was really funny. Lol Yeah Yoon mirae and Tiger JK are very respected and looked up to. She is half black and she has been though many hardships in her life, you can tell through her music, they are so amazing
Haha, I find B.I's voice cute xp But I appreciate Tablo and lots of other rap artists so much because they've brought meaning to life. And now I can recite these to people at school xD
I don’t usually comment on videos but this is extremely well made, love the rolling video, the set up of the lyrics and the little footnotes for references. Keep it up!
This song is awesome!!!! I love it, the beat, the lyrics, everything!!!!! I even sang this in school once and people were looking at me like “Dafuq" but oh well, haters are haters and this song proved it! Plus, I even took the word hater as a compliment because of this song so if people wanna call me a hater for not liking Roman Reigns or liking Seth Rollins....... I actually take it as a compliment and you guys can thank EPIK HIGH for that!!! #bornhater
I don't see how Bobby is dissing Ravi. Really, someone please explain! Seems to me like he's referring to how people who have been in the business longer often see new groups as shit, and like they aren't good enough. Even though we all know some of these older idol groups can't even sing, and they are only famous for their looks. Why is everyone saying that Bobby is disrespectful? He's only saying the truth. Some, not all, idol "rappers" can't rap. Also their lyrics are written for them. He's only pointing out the things we as fans aren't willing to admit...
The "diss" problem is not actually this track. The "diss tracks" are the one Bobby performed on a show named "Show Me The Money", which is basically rap battles. Aaaaaand honestly, after carefully reading the lyrics of every of them, he maked a very obvious reference to VIXX, and less obvious to Rap Monster from BTS (but that one may be a bit of a stretch, I'm not sure). All in all, the problem is also that Bobby did not even DEBUT yet, and he's still talking badly about rapping idols, when he actually IS a rapping idol... The boy brings something new that I like, he has talent, he knows it, he's the "go big or go home" kind of person and I REALLY like it. But... I don't know, there's something kinda hypocritical in the SMTM tracks =/ But still, I don't think it deserves all the drama that has been created =)
Actually, after reading aaaaall the tracks from SMTM, what he is saying is that people call him an idol and give him a lot of crap for that, saying he can't be a rapper if he is an idol. So Bobby answer by saying he has sh*tload of talent, he can be both an idol AND a rapper. He makes a comparison with other "rapper idols" who are actually just pretty faces, and don't know how to rap at all, telling them to step aside and shut up if they can't rap... I totally see what he means (honestly, some "rapper idols" just can't rap for their life...), but it annoys me a bit that he made a reference to Ravi and RapMon when COME ON, some "idol rappers" are WAY WORSE *coughEXOcough*. But there again, dissing is a part of rap culture =)
Awuunni Let me help =) The songs that caused a "problem" are from SMTM : "YGGR" and "Bounce" if I remember well. I don't actually think he dissed RapMon, he mentionned "Monster" and "Bulletproof", but in the context, it was a bit of a stretch to see a diss. For Vixx, it's a bit more obvious : in YGGR, he talks about the "idol with the clock dance", which is a signature move from VIXX, and he proceeded to wall them tone deaf, said they should go back to training, and so on, but he was here adressing every idol rapper, not just Ravi. I hope that it makes sense now =)
I love the use of "18" haha... 18 is pronounced "ship-pal" which sounds just like the word "shit/motherfucker" = "shi-bal" -- both Mino and Bobby used it. :) So many other clever use of words with double meanings or sounds, as pointed out by others here... Lyrically such a great song, and so refreshing/cathartic. Beenzino really said it best about "k-netizens"-- pointing your mouse cursor at me, fuck ya'll geeks. haha...
Sorry about that! I was actually going to make this into a derp kpop channel but that never happened and I keep forgetting to change it haha... Thank you! ; u ;
BTW, this video's concept is 7 deadly sins. DJ two cut - envy Tablo - pride Beenzino - sloth Mithra jin - gluttony Verbal jint - lust MINO - wrath Bobby - greed
@@farahhanafiah997 maybe you know it already since it's been 2 years 🤣 but that “that's no-no” phrase is actually from Masta Wu, he said it during SMTM3 interview. he was one of the producers together with Tablo that time. there's one contestant named Vasco who they're criticizing because the guy is performing like a rocker with his singing and screaming in SMTM instead of rapping like a true hip-hop artist, he said NV, “singing and headbanging? that's no-no.” and it became popular and some also made a meme out of it. 😂😂😂

fucked up --> It sounds "ppuduh" in Korean meaning "knocked down" -->
He came out of the BlockB and debuted in a ballad group (B.O.M) then knocked down and fucked up as it was disbanded
fuck’em ->It also sounds “ppukkum” (bubbling sound of goldfish) in Korean. -> He forgets like a goldfish, ppukkum (sounding the act of forgetting by the goldfish).
@03:22 from the bottom I “turnt up” -> It sounds “turruh” in Korean meaning “brushed” (the dust) on the floor (literal) -> jumped up from the bottom = become successful(figurative)
That is why @03:26”Monster” in English but it sounds like monjidul (dust) in Korean -> he is like hidden by the dust behind a concept (of idol)
The next line “It’s good to get it off from my chest” -> the direct translation is “it was stale and dusty so it is good to get it off” -> The whole paragraph talks about the dust and that bias/misconception at the same time.

So handsome B.i Mino Bobby.. in love with them.. WinnerIkon Fighting..
I love how tablo used I’m a born hater that part to seemingly say that he’s a hater, but actually showing that he’s confident and more superior than some master. Like super master or sth
Am i the only one who notice that only Verbal Jint didnt have any curse words in his lyrics. Oh my Verbal Jint you gain my respect ♡
Hyo_gummy cursing is normal in diss track
My favorite part is Beenzino's
***** same here..and i keep on saying it...
Sameeeeee 😊
klm 415 tablo and b.i ones are lit
"That's no-no" Cutest line ever omg. I know this vid isnt exactly supposed to be cute..but I think its cute in a way. I'm really starting to get into all this Korean rap...Dok2, Jay Park, Zico, Park Kyung, Mino, G Dragon, Rap Monster, Tablo, all these dudes, and CL too! I'm even starting to rap to myself as I do m daily activities, and I'm just an average middle class white girl omg I'm pretty sure if I started rapping, everyone would boo me just cuz I'm white and girly haha
Seriously though, five years ago, I would have never guessed I'd be into Korean rap and hip hop, writing english versions to Korean pop music, and speaking Mandarin Chinese.
Taewoon of of royal class (Mino ans sims of MIB is also apart of that rap group)is in a group called speed and he is Zico's bro (you may already know)
OOO also MIB, they studied under Tiger JK so of course they are a amazing group.
Lol
Yeah Yoon mirae and Tiger JK are very respected and looked up to. She is half black and she has been though many hardships in her life, you can tell through her music, they are so amazing
Haha, I find B.I's voice cute xp But I appreciate Tablo and lots of other rap artists so much because they've brought meaning to life. And now I can recite these to people at school xD
"that's no no" is popular quote from Mansta Wu during smtm3 where bobby and B.I was participated, and bobby is the winner
Totally in love with Verbal Jint's verse, he is just so witty ^_^
I don’t usually comment on videos but this is extremely well made, love the rolling video, the set up of the lyrics and the little footnotes for references. Keep it up!
thank youuu
( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
I am so thankful for you cause I love this so much. THANK YOU
This song is awesome!!!! #bornhater
omg this video was uploaded on my birthday thanks I'm blessed now
i love b.i part bcs of the 'gi' - rhymed, 'stupid' and 'thats no no' lol
B.I just sweeping Bobby's money is so cute tbh welp-
I don't see how Bobby is dissing Ravi.
I've never seen SMTM I'm gonna have to search for the lyrics... Bobby dissing Ravi it's all they talk about in Tumblr
I dont understand. Bobby never mention their names. I'm an Army and Starlight but I just cant find wheres Bobby mistake.
I hope that it makes sense now =)
NGL i really love beenzino part not really personal but pure diss with geniuses and reference on online netz. And the flow.... GODDDDD
18년도 민호 성공했네
I love the use of "18" haha... 18 is pronounced "ship-pal" which sounds just like the word "shit/motherfucker" = "shi-bal" -- both Mino and Bobby used it. :) So many other clever use of words with double meanings or sounds, as pointed out by others here... Lyrically such a great song, and so refreshing/cathartic. Beenzino really said it best about "k-netizens"-- pointing your mouse cursor at me, fuck ya'll geeks. haha...
Love Bobby tho and his lyrics, like always
BURN
Hahah this made me super happy
(Thanks for the translation!!!)
Is no one going to talk about how B.I enjoyed looking at those magazines? Haha he looked like a typical closet perv xD

Forever lovin Masta Wu for "That's no no." (pipz who watched smtm3 will know.. 😏)
Koohii Takatsuki explain i want to know
@@farahhanafiah997 maybe you know it already since it's been 2 years 🤣 but that “that's no-no” phrase is actually from Masta Wu, he said it during SMTM3 interview. he was one of the producers together with Tablo that time. there's one contestant named Vasco who they're criticizing because the guy is performing like a rocker with his singing and screaming in SMTM instead of rapping like a true hip-hop artist, he said NV, “singing and headbanging? that's no-no.” and it became popular and some also made a meme out of it. 😂😂😂
Reading the lyrics, I have to say, I love the way Korean sounds!
BOBBBBYYYYYYYYY
Oh my god i searched the lyrics up finally and this is bloody amazing
My favourite part was Verbal Jint's,B.I's singing part and Bobby's part :D
