Yeah that is what we had in P2. Every course lasts for 4 weeks and last weeks of one course usually overlaps with the next..

i really love ur videos they really changed my perspective about pharmacy . i was wondering if there is a lot of chemistry (eg ions and elements and all that stuff lol)?
Thank you so much! There is chemistry in pharmacy school for sure but there’s not too much of it and it’s actually really interesting and not as bad as chemistry courses in undergrad. It’s applied, so it really helps you understand how the drugs work. I used to say I hate chemistry, but I really do love our medicinal chemistry courses in pharmacy school.

I'm applying to study Pharmacy in a university in Poland and if things go well, I should be beginning studies by February, 2023, but I had just recently found out that the school I am applying to only has B. Pharm Program available. I don't know how to feel about this as I do not know the difference between the both of them. And I have already completed a bachelor's degree in Microbiology.
After I complete the B. Pharm Program, is there anything I can do if I would like to have a Pharm. D degree?

Hi, I have some questions. So for pharmacy 2 years of undergrad is required, what made you do 5 years. And how was undergrad like, is it stressful or hard.
I didn’t know that I wanted to go into pharmacy from the beginning of undergrad and I wanted to finish my degree (biomedical physiology). Undergrad was definitely stressful, especially the first 2 years since I was adjusting from high school. Since a lot of courses were more general and felt kind of “pointless” like general chemistry and physics, it was a different kind of hard than pharmacy school where everything you learn is going to be applied. It got a lot better and more enjoyable towards the end though as I got into specialized courses for my major!
@@Armitta Did you have to get certain marks in undergrad in order to get in to pharmacy school, because I heard that you have to get over 80s in each subject you picked in undergrad or something like that.
@@haroonhakimi3891 it really depends on the requirements for each school you’re applying to because they might differ! Some schools might require at least a certain grade in every course you’ve taken, while others only look at the average of the grades you got in your pre-requisites + your last 2 years. So check their websites and sometimes they do mention statistics or average accepted grades 😊

I completed a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Physiology which covered all my prerequisite courses. You can do any degree as long as you take the prerequisite courses for the program you’re applying to ☺️

Can u tell the duration of studying pharmacy in canada.
The PharmD program itself is 4 years, but you’ll need at least 2 years (60 credits) of undergraduate courses as prerequisites first, depending on the school.
