My 2025 Savings Challenge Plans: How I Plan on Saving over $30,000!

- Savings challenges are a motivating way to help you save for the things that you want. I'm using savings challenges to save for 4 different categories: My Emergency Fund, Home/Family, Self-Care, & Misc. My challenges range from saving $20-$1000. There are a variety of different challenges you can do that won't take a lot of money. Hopefully you'll feel inspired to start saving today!

I have big savings goals for the next 1-3 years as well starting in 2025. No specific challenges yet, but I do have it budgeted to save $10K this next year. Glad I found your channel. I need all the savings inspiration I can get because I am strongly 'savings-challenged'.

Great video Kris. I have already saved my 1k EF will start adding to it every month till I can get 3-6 months ahead. I need to come up with a plan to make extra car payments don't want to take 72 months to pay it off. 10-7 makes 1yr of payments in which I have already made that payment. You really opened my eyes to budget planning for 2025. I will definitely be waiting on your video on what to do with the Sinking Funds. I be all over the place SMH.

I agree about the personal savings account. My goal is $20K for it and I’ve added to it for the last few years and I ‘m almost there. I’ve put extra side hustle money and bonuses towards it in order to move the needle. My next goal is to start a new car fund. This is a great video and gives everyone something to think about and prepare for 2025!

Hey Kris! Great video and I love the long term goal for the emergency fund. I will be carrying over all of my challenges into 2025 since I was only able to do 2 this year. The goal is to have them all completed by the end of 2025 and I will use all side hustle income to go towards it.

Question? What is your advice on Sinking Funds and $1000 emergency fund? I just started saving both. If an emergency would happen, I do not have $1000 and would pull from my sinking funds for that emergency. Should I focus on that emergency fund and after I have the $1000 start putting money in my sinking funds as well as continuing adding to the emergency fund?
@@dyonnettawhite599 yes and yes. I would focus on $500 to $1000 first to cover a basic emergency. Then focus on everything else (that’s just my opinion 😊)
