You're a great example of how to restart and not give up. I am so thankful for your honesty. You have done this and been successful. We believe in you. Remember to give yourself grace. As it is given to us. 🤗
I'm so glad you persevered and didn't let those negative energies put you off from making this video. I'm only 3 min 54 sec in & you've just said everything I've been needing to hear. Thank you, thank you!
Girl, i feel it. I totally stopped doing this right when i moved earlier this year and i basically took out 100 for food and then like 100 on my savings account and the rest just kinda disappeared [: I'm tired of it. Cancelled some preorders I was in the middle of paying off, gonna declutter and start over. We got this
For the subscriptions services like Disney+ and Netflix that you don’t always use, I’d just cancel them and sign up again if there is something specific you want to watch. Then cancel it again when you don’t ‘need’ it anymore since there is no contract.
@@BeaFindsJoy On a similar line, we cancelled ours and when we do re-signup, we binge watch ALL the shows we wanted to see, then cancel. Then the next month we re-sign up for a different one and binge watch all the shows, etc. Takes a bit of planning to make sure you cancel so you don't get charged for extra months and figuring out if there are enough shows offered that make it worth it. Good luck!!
Put the additional money on your debt as soon as you get it. I have found that if I leave the extra money until the end of the month, I will find a reason to spend it before the end of the month.
New sub, also on debt payoff. Had to pause to get my emergency fund back, too many emergencies had came up back to back. Here to support your journey ❤
You just encouraged me to start over!! As for the debt payments, I get paid weekly and whatever is left over, I apply it to the debt that I’m paying. If it stays in your account (even if it’s a separate one) makes it easy to spend it on something else.
Hey Hey Bea! Glad to see you back on the scene working out your budget...I know that it feels amazing! Your community is here to lift you up! Let's get it!!!
Hi..I like the idea of paying the additional debt at the end of the month. Having a separate account helps but do whatever makes the process easier for you. Also, I read The 12 week Year and it got me back on track. Sometimes we just need a fresh perspective and a plan with manageable steps. Welcome back 😊💚
Hi Brittany!!! Great video, as always. You are such a great teacher, and you lead by example. I'm proud of you for starting back up again. You can do this. You've done it before. I think you should put the debt money straight to the debt. I'm here, I'm in your corner! ❤
you didn't account for the variable funds in the monthly budget so do you separate that part of your pay when budgeting? so excited to see you posting again! 🥰
hi Brittany! it's nice to watch you budgeting. we all have to reset sometimes, and that's okay. you're doing a great job - working and being a wife and mom is lots of work. see you next week. 🤎
Please please please offer this printable!! I have been searching for a budget planner exactly like this. Usually something is missing but you have literally everything. PLEASE
@Msmxwll hey!! Sorry! My life kinda got thrown all around the last two weeks. Like me see if I can get something together by this Wednesday. Stay tuned!
Welcome to the Joy Fam!! So glad you are here and enjoyed the video. We definitely go this. I’m excited to cheer you on along the way. Let’s do this together.
Thanks for being transparent. I'm not saying anything about the truck payment but I about choked when you said $400 for gas. Maybe you misspoke? If not, sell whatever you are driving! 😂
It is amazing now how much of our extra money goes towards streaming devices and other subscriptions! It is getting down right ridiculous 😂. Did you ever post your planning sheets?
Thats Awesome when kind of starting over , Thank You , For the Tips , Relieves me from feeling bad when need Urgently The Funds nd need to start over 👍👍👍
Heyyyyy girl I literally want to comment on everything 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I'm glad you are back. I think I'll be back in December! Apple charges are outrageous, I'm about to order that book now, we are always going to keep some time of car too, I'm with you on Finding every excuse not to get started back up on budgeting. Loved the video can't wait to see more. ❤❤❤
Love!!!! How you doing?? Yes!! Let’s get back on track together. Taylor just came back too. We got to get the old crew together. Our lives have changed over the years and I think we are all feeling like it’s time to get back on track in some regard. Sending love!
@@BeaFindsJoy thank you! I’m putting extra overtime money towards my student loans. i felt seen when im not the only one ready for them to get out of my life 😂
❤New sub❤ listing as I make me some coffee and breakfast. I have 2 channels one is my budgeting channel and 1 is a life type of channel. that life channel. I'm doing a thirty day challenge so a video everyday plus my budgeting channel videos as well, which i'm trying to batch film some of them a lot of editing. So when things go wrong, it can really mess up the flow
Hey. New subscriber here and new to budgeting. I have a question- in your monthly overview bare bones you did not account for conference spending or personal that I can see but then included those in the week one breakdown. The leftover for the whole month was 249.69 that was available for debt and emergency fund. The conference was 438.20 and $50 personal would have put you into the negative for the month. Is this just something that you don't worry about because there is an assumption that there will be more money coming in and the monthly overview is just a guesstimate? I am trying hard not to live paycheck to paycheck but my budget vs. Actual figures can be very different, usually because I overspend on things that are unforseen. Maybe I need a larger misc. Line item. Thanks for the encouragement to get back to basics. Your matter of fact, straight forward approach is refreshing.
My 2 cents - have the separate savings account along with your checking account and deposit the additional monies into that account and at the end of each month, you make the additional payment to your debt 💚
@BeaFindsJoy I am taking day by day. I had a not so good year. I am learning to go on after losing two family members. My budget has been very crazy with all the changes going on. I am planning to do my videos again after I get my laptop fixed since everything I need to do my videos are on there. 2025 will be a better year.
Welcome to the Joy Family!! I am so glad that you are here and watched the video. I’m working on offering them to be downloaded. I’ll definitely share when it’s ready.
Not sure what was not related since the video is talking about starting over and so clearly that means I need to give some context and explanation. The nice thing about watching RUclips videos is that 1) you can fast forward 2) if at the “half” way point you weren’t satisfied, you can exit the video at any time. If my style isn’t your cup of tea, that is totally fine. It might not be for everyone. Have a great day and thanks for checking out my video.
Thank you for sharing . Always good to get back on track ..because it works 😀. I pay my debt as soon as possible..saves any temptation to use some of the money 😏. 🇬🇧💛🤍

This comment warms my heart so much! I’m hope to show the realism of life and that sometimes you just have to start over and that’s ok.

Great video. Well done on restarting your journey. Just wondered if you also have life insurance, medical insurance as well?
Life is the Primerica. We do have health insurance, but we don’t pay for it, which is a blessing.

Haha! Nope! I’ve been budgeting in my mind but nothing like I should have been doing.
I've had way more success putting the money straight through for debt, too tempting otherwise 😂

Do you have mortgage
I do. I just don’t share the amount. It’s something my husband and I agreed to when I started sharing our budget.
Then how does it work when you only have $200 left after all of your bills? That’s probably not enough for a mortgage.
@andieszabo3360 I have already accounting for the mortgage prior to the starting balance. Putting money aside each week.
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
