Thank you for doing this interview with Alex. Being self-taught as well I understand the struggles. And he did some amazing job with teaching himself to paint, I love watching his workshops at East Oaks Studio. And by the way, I am also a big fan of Rosemary&Co (just ordered some fans earlier today!;). Keep up the good work!
Hi Symi, I loved the interview. I've one question for you - how can someone living all the way in Asia (India specifically) find, or make use of workshops/ateliers? I find that the problem with going to schools and other academies is the same everywhere - they're expensive for young people. I really would like the intensive & immersive experience a workshop offers, but I find almost no such opportunities here... Do you've any thoughts on this?
Symi, I have a question. An hobby artist who is into multiple media like oils, watercolor, gouache etc ...is it recommended to narrow down to get one thing at least right? I feel I'm nowhere ..in these media but unable leave any of these. Gouache for my daily evening relaxation after work....oils on long off days...and watercolour on Sunday morning
the interviewer excels at relevant questions, thank you
Talented guy, sensitive and focused. Bravo
