I saw this man live with Soilwork, got passes to meet him, shook his hand, took a picture, got a t shirt autographed. Needless to say he is a very nice guy and a fucking God among men.
realkidrage hahahahaha he propably was the classic asking alexandria and bullet for my valentine kid but then when Jeff's real riffs fucked his mind he re-conciliated the whole meaning of his existence
One of the most exciting tunes of Nevermore! In front of people in public Jeff actually performances...I'm so jealous of them. I wouldn't be able to help headbanging til decapitating if I were there. I believe that must be a suitable regard to his incredible playing.

No. He just sat down and practiced. I don't understand why so many are so fucking pathetic and think that they aren't capable of great things. You have a brain and every brain can form connections. It takes a mere 5 minutes for your brain to build connections when you learn a new task. So imagine how many connections you can form when you actually sit down and practice.
@@chrisking6695 first: watch your language. Second: you must be really young and thinking this way. If you calm down you will lear and understand things not always happens like you think. And you have to learn not to take everything too seriously...

holy shit, his flow even during the improvised solo is just mindblowing and how he ripps this damn hard riff at 1:58 kills me! you guys cant imagine how difficult this riff is exspecially on his guitar cause the damn frets are so f*cking huge! though my fingers are large aswell but damn its still so hard to play it so clean and with such a flow, just wow, what a guitar player!
lmfao that riff is not difficult at all. That is actually one of the easy parts of the song. And tall frets are super easy to play because you have less wood under your fingers reducing friction.
honestly.. I played guitar 5:14 minutes ago. i wonder does he ever wake up and say. well its time to pwn the hopes and dreams of guitarists every where
Jeff Loomis es un puto genio al nivel de Marty Friedman o Jason Becker es algo asi como el hermano menor pero solo por edad porque talento tiene mucho.
keith merrow, mikael akerfeldt, trey azagthoth, ihsahn, mille petrozza, jon nödtveidt, joe duplantier, quorthon. this would be my additions to that list.
This song defines heavy metal. What a talented musican. Being able to play music is one thing... But when you can write awesome shit like this and "Jato unit"... That's just amazing. comparing guitarists is like comparing basketball player to football player (both are using the ball). There is no the best guitarist or something like that, each of them has its own style of playing, Loomis, Hendrix, Friedman, Vai, Mustaine, Page, etc. Unique style of playing made them famous and no one is worse or better than other one.
"You see kids? This is, with a lot of practice, something you will never accomplish." lol!
+Jason Jasniewski It's more like "Dad, is he satan?"
+Piotrek Lesiński LOL! "No Johnny, Jeff Loomis killed satan."
"No Timmy, Jeff Loomis is Satan's guitar teacher."
The best music he made was with Nevermore. I am glad i was able to see them on their last Obsidian Conspiracy tour.

Loomis is know for his lead playing but he is a monster rhythm player! Happy 10 year to this album
Right! In addition, in an interview he said that he is actually more of a rhythm player than leads.

(right part of screen) 1:03 "Come on Dad, I give up on playing"
i was lookin for this comment, cheers
two words .. FREAKIN AWESOME !!!
that riff coming out of the solo at 4.20 is one mean ass riff!
How he includes the palm muted harmonics or w.e. it is at 0:32 is just icing on the badass riffcake, Jeff Loomis is the almight guitar god.
Once again, our Master has spoken..............through killer riffs and leads.
Relentless!
I love your work so friggin' much!
