      Question Laura. When one buys your guitar course here online do you have excess to it all the time? By that I mean, there is no time limit or restrictions? You can say take a break for a few weeks, etc and then come back to it so you'll always have it? You can reference it anytime you wish?

But I knew it would be good for me, to learn, and have fun, mostly fun. Now i have an beutiful Tanglewood Tw40 folk guitar, and Im gettin there, slowly start to understand and learn. My fingers move much faster and whit far more dexterity and accuracy. Thats is quite an amazing feeling. You have an big part in this.

    by the way Lauren just thought i might just mention, another great thing to do with this song Mr Tambourine Man by the Byrds is to do guitar arpegios ! :) in other words get your students to form their basic chords, then if they can form the chords try and get your students to actually strike each string and chord tone individually that is actually part of that chord and allow each note to run into eachother :) might have a nice dreamy effect for this song and will sound alot like the original record ! :) this can also be done for songs like "Turn Turn Turn" by the byrds aswell :)

    Really cool riff, managed to pick that up really quickly, haven't got into the song itself yet. (A classic by the way 👍), was never a fan of Dylan's version but the Byrds cover was brilliant. Another great lesson Lauren (I wish livin' on a Prayer which my tutor has given me to learn was a straightforward as this 😀)

  • @johnkochen7264
    @johnkochen7264 2 года назад +1

    I hope you realize that when I try to learn that opening riff, I am going to add (or try to add) those 1/8 notes that you hear on the Byrds recording. These songs are indelibly etched into my musical memory and playing anything less would sound highly unsatisfactory to me.
    Okay, I will do without the 12 string but you know what I mean.

    Been practicing that intro for ages now. I find I start to get over confident and try going too fast and it goes haywire 😉. Quick question unrelated to the lesson, I see you have a Gretsch with a Bixby bridge, I bought a Gretsch a month or so ago, also with a Bixby, I find it goes out of tune really quickly, my other 2 guitars need a slight tweak occasionally, yet the Gretsch needs every string retuning every time I pick it up, wondered if this was something you find?
