- Wyllie O Hagan - Clare and I had a great night at The Green Note Café in Camden celebrating the Russian Christmas and Clare's birthday in the very good company of Mohy Quandour - author, classical composer and filmmaker and Luba Balagova Quandour, film producer, author and poet.
Mazaika, is an Anglo Russian musical duo comprising electric violinist Sarah Harrison and accordian player, Igor Outkine. The soaring violin music teases you, filling you with restless yearning one minute and your heart racing the next. We were dancing in our seats and wanted to get up and stamp our feet, if there had been an inch of space in the packed room.
Clare and I danced the night streets home, the music still with us. These are the times you cherish and recall when things are not so great.
We would like to share the music of Mazaika in this video we made of the evening.
Have a dance and enjoy -- and a happy new year to all

@sirkanemc Thanks very much, congrats on the city of culture, will definately call in and see you:)
wonderful!!!!!!
I feel like I have been 'outted'. You see, the English/Irish cultures were my adopted heritage. Your video here is a look into my inherited heritage.
Inherited heritage? Wow, I typed that being 100% sober!
How have you guys been!!??????
I thought I used to get emails when one of my subscriptions put up a new video... I guess not.
Have fun, be well, stay warm and mind the gap. :)
